Christmas in Noisy Village

an excellent little book. the text is charming and simple and the artwork is a delight. such a colourful presentation. would make a wonderful gift for a child at Christmas time.

This was one if my favourite Christmas books when I was a kid and I’m delighted to have been able to get a copy of it.

So lovely and atmospheric! A favourite around christmas time!

This book was one we read at christmas as kids. We couldn't find the original book and although it brought back such lovely nostalgic memories of reading it (and particularly for me 'cracking' the cracker on the last page) we couldn't remember the title, authors or character names. It was a long search on google before I found it. So happy I did - such a simple but warming christmas book. Have bought it to put in my 4 year old's christmas eve box to read to him that night. Just hope he warms to it as I did. Gorgeously illustrated, just like wandering through a snowy village and peering into glowing christmassy windows watching the happy children preparing for christmas inside...baking biscuits (the smell fills the village), cutting down christmas trees and singing christmas carols - for me, enchanting

Un très beau livret pour enfant, idéal pour les petits débutants en anglais. Attention au format: il s'agit d'un carnet, ce n'est pas vraiment un livre.

Exactly what i was looking for: a Christmas book that is not focussed on Santa, but rather on the overall excitement and “togetherness” and fun around this important event.
