Zunächst einmal - prompte Lieferung durch amazon - wie immer. Super!Der Füller ist für den Preis ein echter Knaller. Er liegt gut in der Hand, ist gut ausbalanciert und man kann lange Texte schreiben, ohne dass die Hand ermüdet. Das Gehäuse ist aus Metall und die schwarz-silberne Farbgebung wirkt richtig edel ohne zu protzen, wie es bei schwarz-gold oft der Fall ist. Die Schriftbreite ist für m nach meiner Meinung fast ein bisschen zu dick, schlägt aber nicht durch, wenn man gutes Papier nutzt.Ein kleines Manko habe ich entdeckt - im ersten Anstrich fehlt oft die Tinte. Man muss dann nicht umständlich für Tintenfluss sorgen, der kommt schon von ganz alleine. Aber die ersten 2 Millimeter fehlen halt. Nach notwendiger Korrektur sieht das Schriftbild dann oftmals uneben aus. Es passiert nicht immer und wenn man flüssig beim Schreiben ist gar nicht, aber ärgerlich ist es trotzdem. Deshalb ein Stern Abzug.Aber für den Preis erhält man ein edles Schreibgerät, mit dem Schreiben richtig Spaß macht. Und es fällt auf, ich bin schon von einigen Leuten angesprochen worden, die meinten ich hätte da ja ordentlich investiert. Ich habe sie in dem Glauben gelassen. :-)In der Lieferung ist eine kleine Tintenpatrone mit schwarzer Tinte enthalten. Ich habe außerdem eine Patrone aus der Pelikan Edelstein-Serie probiert - passt. Man ist also nicht auf teure Originalpatronen angewiesen.Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

La penna è molto bella, ma c'era scritto che l'inchiostro era rosso, invece scrive nero. Forse non l'avrei acquistata, mi serviva il colore rosso.

I already had some Cross Fountain Pen Cartridge Ink Refills (8921) that didn't fit any other pens, so I checked out Amazon to see if they had a reasonable fountain pen that would use them. I saw Cross Franklin Covey Freemont, Deco Black/Chrome, Medium Fountain Pen (FC0036IM-1MS), and under the "Frequently Bought Together" section of the description, it says that the 8921 cartridge was bought with this pen, so I assumed the 8921 would fit.However, when the pen arrived, I inserted the 8921 cartridge and discovered it didn't sit correctly and didn't stay connected causing the ink to flow very sporadically if at all. I suspected the reason for this was the cartridge was too short, so I inserted an the spring mechanism from an old ball point pen to push and keep the cartridge seated correctly on the pen-cartridge connection. That worked, but what worked even better was Waterman Fountain Pen Cartridges (52021W). These cartridges are much longer, filling the barrel. Ink flows consistently, even after the pen sat unused for a couple of days. Please note the fit is tight, and I needed needle-nose pliers to pull the cartridge out of the barrel once the ink runs out.I would give this pen 5 stars because it writes nicely and feels good, but I'm giving it 3 stars for not clearly stating what cartridge to use.

The quality is immediately noticeable. The red lacquer is stunning. I like the twist operation (vs removable cap) and the ballpoint writes smooth and easy. The size is just perfect: substantial but not overly weighty, nor is it flimsy and cheap-feeling. You cannot go wrong with a Cross pen, although sadly there is no obvious Cross branding on the pen; it has "Franklin Covey" engraved on the clip. I am a pen lover, so I get a bit excited when I find a really nice one at a reasonable price. This is a beauty.
