I initially thought, "why am I spending this much $$ on a harmonica for my 1 year old?" But after a couple months of my ears NOT bleeding every time she plays it, I profusely thank my past self for listening to reviews of other grateful parents and just buying the thing! It is well-constructed, easy to grab with little hands, and (all-importantly) actually MELODIC!! Both me and my husband are so amazed and relieved. We actually enjoy listening to LO play it! No box grater against the eardrum insanity! If you want your musical tot to express themselves without you losing your mind, get this. 👍👍

I got this for my 2 year old (28 months) for her Easter basket. What a hit it was! She got the hang of it within two or three tries and the sound is actually really good. I tried it out too and every hole makes sound. The price seems a bit steep for a child’s harmonica, but I think the quality and sound can’t be beat! Two big thumbs up from me! It would make a great addition to an Easter basket or stocking stuffer, or would even be great as a stand alone gift.

Very happy with these. Bought several for kids birthdays. They love playing them and it comes with very simple instructions to get started learning how to make music with it! Well made, sturdy.

why didn't I buy this before?! My toddler needed a musical instrument for her remote music class. We chose a harmonica because it was different from the average preschool music instrument. She plays it often and unlike with a set a drums I have not had a headache yet. I love the cuteness of it. Great purchase. Highly recommend.

Very nice and affordable instrument. I bought this for my 15 month old so we could jam out together. She loves to try to blow on the harmonica and really enjoys when we play it as well. Love that hape uses safe materials for little ones.
