Quality: 10/10Beauty: 10/10Price: 8/10Auspdice has made a high quality sharp edge translucent dice set with metallic flakes that is truly stunning to look at.The dice comes in a cardboard faux-snake skin box which is surprisingly high quality for a shipping box; normally I would take my set out and add them to a small pouch to bring to tabletop games but the box looks nice enough that I intend on keeping the dice stored as they are. For a freebie, this was an unexpected bonus.The Dark Galaxy ones I bought have a distinctly green metallic flakes inside the smoky gray body which absolutely looks like a micro cosmos in palm when I look at it. Holding it up to the light, you can see straight through it, but the flakes make awesome refractions as the light shines though.As for heft, these dice are quite light, which is expected of full resin dice. As a side effect of the incredible translucence, you end up with nothing but resin and metal flakes, which are light as it stands. This means the dice have less momentum as they roll, and will come to a stop sooner. Depending on what/where you play, this can be a benefit. Just keep in mind that light dice have a tendency to bounce a bit more.The dice set comes with the standard array; 1d4, 1d6, 1d8, 2d10, 1d12, & 1d20. But you should note that the d4 has the number on the spike, as opposed to some sets that have the number on the base, and the 2 d10s use the 0 to 9 and 00 to 90 numbers to represent percentages (or rolls out of 100).Also, hard edge dice roll significantly less than round edge dice, which is both a good and bad thing. Statistically, your dice is less likely to be truly random as how you roll the dice can determine how many 'rolls' it bounces through before settling. This is why you see casinos only use rounded d6. Personally, I like this because I play on small tables, don't use a dice tower, and prefer to throw the dice dramatically so it's nice to have the dice stay in the area as opposed to rolling off an edge.WARNING: These dice are REALLY sharp and will literally cut you if you step on them. I already had a spazz out when I rolled the d6 near the edge of the table and slapped the dice down to prevent it from rolling off. I've learned my lesson when I got stabbed. Also, the d4 is a damn caltrop, how cool is that?

I collect dice as a hobby and grabbed these as soon as I saw them. The listing photos are always going to look better than how you view them at home because they always photograph in the most ideal lighting scenarios, however, these look great no matter what lighting you are in. They are fairly easy to read, though there is so much reflective material in them that too much light can cause glare. At a normal indoor D&D session, you will not have an issue.I usually prefer rounded edge dice because they roll better in a dice tray, but I had to grab these for their uniqueness. They are of course, still perfectly usable for gameplay though.

These are beautiful dice. Easy to read. Only concern was that once out of the original packaging not easy to get die back in packaging.

I got this dice set for my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves them. They're very well made. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they're more beautiful in person and capture the light with colorful elegance. They came in their own magnetic lid box and are a little larger than standard dice sets for those who need to know. This is a perfect gift for any gamer or dice collector.

The numbers on all but the d20 are nice and large, and the dice are decent sizes. The d4 isn't stuffed so far down into the packaging foam that it's impossible to grab, either.But the set I got only looks good from some angles. There's a ball of glitter/foil that gives the effect, which would look great if it were centered, but it's mostly just sitting down against one face. From the opposite face, it looks AMAZING. Everywhere else is just meh.The dice are extremely light, especially considering how much larger they are than regular dice. The edges are really sharp, too. You can decide if these are pros or cons for you.For the price, I expected better. The design is worth the price, but the process needs work. If they can find a way to reliably center the foil, this would be 5 stars and worth the money. I prefer a weightier die than these, but again, that's personal preference.Still, all that said, these are probably going to be my primary dice going forward, if for no other reason than they are really easy to read and my eyes aren't getting any better as I age.

Amazing dice! So sharp and the colours are absolutely stunning. They glitter so well in natural light. All the faces have mirror reflection and the numbers are super easy to read.Looking forward to using them

Nice manufacture, comes in a good keeping case. Was more blue than purple.

They're a bit lighter that I expected but still very nice looking dice. They have a nice solid edge to them.
