Great sprouter trays, germinates well under a windowsill. Size is small, but enough to rotate trays through to constantly have sprouts growing for my chickens during the winter. Easy to rinse out the sprouts each day. Once done, I clean them well and then soak them in a clorox/water solution and then start all over again with my lentils. Trays are sturdy and thick. Great value for what I needed.

But coming from sprouting 15 years ago and sprouting with soil in the house, I have to say that these are a bar-non and the next best thing to sprouting indoors.Hands-down happy with my purchase and in placing another order now. I use the ECO towels, paper towels, folded them over to double the support, and they have worked amazing.I have no issues whatsoever with these trays and again coming from 15 years ago sprouting with soil I’ve had to refresh my memory, but these trays have been super easy to work with. They are strong enough to hold my heavy mortar, and the sprouts pushed through it to wait, toasted onto the tile, and it broke. Meanwhile, the PBA, free plastic trays survive the fall, and nothing broke on the train nor the strainer part 🙌🏼I am headed over heels that I can enjoy my sprouts again in my salads in my sushi rolls, sandwiches or just grab a bunch and just toss it in my mouth mouth absolutely love them.

I tried growing some cat grass seeds in two of these and out of about 50 seeds only five sprouted. The seeds were a good size seed, but still, some of them kept falling through the great into the water in the bottom container. I don’t think I would ever buy these again

Nice trays, etc. but no instructions. The video on Amazon tells you how to wet the seeds, but there is no additional tray for a cover.

Perfect for sprouting lentils

The paper that comes with this setup is not worth trying. Very few microgreens will grow past 1 inch or 3.5cm. PLants just can't root well enough. The top tray (white) sits too deep inside of the green tray, forcing you to water as much as twice a day, without drowning your plants. The white trays should have been shallow so you can add more water to the bottom tray. Bright colors was also an issue. Roots like DARK, so the trays should be black.I will not order these again, and just tossed these into the recycle bin.

It's ok for some seeds but know there are no lids. Growing microgreens requires a dome structure to start. I tried to use the other trays as a lid and it doesn't work. Small seeds fall through the white trays. You can put a papertowel underneath but that blocks the roots and defeats the purpose. Major flaw.
