NICE COUNTERTOP RICE COOKER
Bought this to replace my Mi Aroma cooker. This one is larger but still fits nicely on my countertop. Easy to use ; only has two settings : Warm or Cook. Takes about 10 minutes to make one cup of rice. Doesn't overflow like my old cooker ; less mess is great! The inside pot is non-stick and easy to clean. Comes with a rice paddle that fits on the handle so it's easy to keep track of it! Cord is a nice length ; not too short nor too long. Give this a try if you need a nice rice cooker at a reasonable price.

What I needed.
It's not too big and even with some meh reviews, it's perfect for my needs. It arrived today and I used it to make my dinner. It did not overflow, but it did take a bit more water than the instructions said and a bit longer on high heat to get my rice fully cooked. I added the water, turned it on high until I heard it bubbling, then I switched it to warm and let it finish steaming. Perfect rice ensued. Ah, and I did not rinse the rice. It still came out perfect. It was not sticky or clumpy at all.

The Oyama Rice Cooker-Warmer is wonderful!
I've put off buying a rice cooker for years because, well, I'm not a fan of rice. But I love Sweet Sticky Rice, and now I get to eat perfectly cooked sticky rice as frequently as I please. The size is perfect for 1-2 people, and it takes up very little space on the counter or in a cabinet. It's incredibly easy to use and clean, and it's reliable. After soaking sticky rice for 3-4 hours, the cooking time is quick, and enjoyment soon follows - whether in a savory dish or a delicious dessert. I highly recommend this unit.

Good enough
My mother wanted a basic easy-to-use, easy-to-clean rice cooker that would cook two cups of rice. That's all she wanted and this rice cooker fits the bill. It cooks two cups of rice nicely - i don't think it can handle 3 cups - and it's small, compact, which is good in her small kitchen. The main problem is that there's no off switch. Once it's plugged in, it's on, either cooking or keep warm. You have to unplug it to turn it off. Seems like a simple off switch would have been a good idea.

Great value and cooks quickly
I've been using it every other day for about 2-3 weeks now and it makes consistently good rice. I like how quickly this cooks! I have a small kitchen and I live alone so this is perfect for single servings (which is probably why it cooks so quickly) but it can easily cook enough for 2-3 people.I haven't had any issues with the bottom of the rice burning like others have mentioned.Overall very happy with it!

Exceptional product and value!!
I bought this to have at our home for our Japanese daughter-in-law. She used to carry her giant expensive rice make with her which was ridiculous. I didn’t want to spend a lot on something we only use two weeks out of the year so this was perfect!! It’s really handy, useful, dependable and cooks beautiful rice! I love it and she loved it! Perfect Fluffy rice in 20 minutes!

Pretty standard rice cooker, small size. Good price.
I made my first batch of rice with it tonight. I've had rice cookers before. It came out as I expected.I don't like glass dome lids because the rice ends up mushy on the outside edges and drier in the middle. That's because water condenses on the inside of the lid and then drips down the sides. But the price was right, and next time I will just put a paper towel under the lid as it's cooking so water won't be dripping down the sides inside. For those who complain about the water sputtering out onto the counter, you can put a dish towel over it as it's cooking.I prefer rice cookers with an internal lid that's covered by an external cover, but those are hard to find any more. That kind of rice cooker makes rice with great texture throughout, without having to add any paper towels or anything, and they also don't make any mess on the counter.

Where have you been all my life
Purchased this item for my son, who loves steamed rice. I figured, the price is low and worth rolling the dice on it; he, 10 year old, prepares his own rice at least twice a week; we now purchase the 20lbs. bag of Jasmine Rice...Fantastic product that is very easy to use.
