I wanted a headset for my desk at work as I tend to be on my landline frequently, and was experiencing neck pain when resting my phone on my shoulder and typing at the same time. I have a Mitel Superset 4025 telephone, and purchased this headset because my telephone model was listed as compatible. This particular headset had great reviews compared to the previous one that I purchased which had a 3 star rating and was less expensive than this one. I returned it to the seller because it stopped working after only 4 weeks of use. After installing this headset, I found that no one on the other end of the line could hear me, and assumed it was a microphone issue. I contacted Mairdi, and they promptly found the solution to my headset issue. It turns out that I needed a different adapter than what was originally sent. The adapter arrived within a week of identifying the issue and now the headset works great - it's comfortable, functional, and very clear in sound and speech. I would have given this product 4 stars based on the initial issue, but Mairdi's customer service was so efficient that I will give them 5.

Pro: Sound is pretty good. I have the duo model and usually keep one side displaced so I can hear ambient sound, but it is very handy to have both ears available if the caller is unclear. Con: Callers always complain that they can’t hear me until the mic is within a cm of my lips. I wish the mic had stronger audio pickup. No mute or volume function, but better than a handset. Good enough for a non-profit in the middle of nowhere.

Bought for an Avaya 9316. Worked straight out of the box, didn't even have to change the adapter it started with. Decent sound through the headphones, but because I don't have an amplifier, I have to get people to repeat themselves sometimes (I had this problem with my regular headset anyway). Mic reception is very good, as long as you have it very close to your mouth - but that's true of ANY flexible boom mic. I have a tiny head, so I'm having some trouble keeping it on. Aggressively bending the metal bar into shape is helping, but it slides back on my head all the time.

Do yourself a favor and get a gamer headset instead. They are built much sturdier and have better cables. I bought this one as a replacement: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BF9KFBZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Almostany gamer headset has thicker more reliable wires than these. Cable connections started failing in under 2 months of use. I had to play with wire position to get audio. I had to make my customers repeat what they said constantly cause the sound kept cutting out. I ended up using tape to hold the wires in a way that kept the audio from cutting out but that only lasted about a week or 2. The headset is useless now. Customer support said they would send me a cable replacement but after 3 follow-up requests from me and at least a month later, no cable replacement arrived. They were just giving me the runarounds and here i am with the negative review.
