Adjustable fit, hide away neck cape, and keeps the bugs away - what's not to like?
Fits about right, with a drawstring adjustment to fine tune the fit so its not hard to get it to fit just right. If you are kind of between sizes like I am, get the next size larger, and snug it up with the string. My head feels tight on some size L hats, and loose on some XL hats. Getting the XL gave me a slightly loose fit, that I quickly and easily snugged up with the drawstring. The mesh in the hat lets the air flow through, keeping my head cool, yet seems to do a decent job of shading my scalp. I really like the hide-away neck cape. For days when the sun is really beating down, I can open a Velcro closure, and pull out a cape that drapes down and shades my neck. When I don't need it, it folds up under the back of the brim, under the Velcro, so neatly you will never notice it. I like the brim, as well. Wide enough to do some good, but not so big as to catch every breeze. I also wear a military surplus boonie hat, and this one is very much the same style, but with mesh in it, to let the air through, and an ever-so-slightly wider brim. If you hold it up to the boonie hat, the brim is just enough wider to tell, but otherwise they look the same. There is a built in sweatband, that seems to work pretty well at keeping sweat from running off my forehead into my eyes. Overall, fit and finish are good to very good, especially considering the price. I paid $15 with free shipping, about half of what a similar hat sells for locally. The Insect repellant works, at least to some extent. It keeps the skeeters from constantly buzzing your head/face, but they will still eat your arms and legs, so either wear long sleeves and pants, or use repellant there, to be safe. So far, the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that I have no idea how durable the hat will be, in particular how long-lasting the insect repelling feature will last. If it lasts a good while, it will be 5 stars, if it wears off quickly, it will still be a 4 star purchase, just for the quality/value for the price.Pros: Cool, adjustable fit, hide-away cape, repels mosquitoes.Cons: None, really, if you like this style of hatUnknowns: No idea how long the insect repellant feature will last.

Insect shield works
I like that it is SPF 50 and has the insect guard. Ticks are a threat in my area and they can get into your hair with great ease. I only let down the neck shield when exposed to afternoon sun outdoors. Otherwise it lives unnoticed in the top of the hat. Elastic adjustment to size works just fine but in a real blow the chin strap comes in handy. The material is soft and most of the time I tuck the chin strap and neck shield up inside the cap. Very comfortable under many conditions.

Hi Tech Boonie Hat
Pleasantly surprise by this boogie hat. Bought this bh for the neck protection but UV and bug protection are a big plus. Visor seems to be just the right size and the overall quality is good. A Stetson made in China. I would purchase this hat again.

Ideal sun hat
This is an ideal sun hat. A great value for a Stetson brand name. Crushes nicely, feels great, looks pretty good too. Has stowable chin strap and neck cover, both of which I am thinking of cutting off as the hat is perfect without them except in extreme conditions. I bought two of these hats (paid $49 for the first one in a hat store before seeing the low price on Amazon), so one can be for everyday use without the strap and neck cover.

Nice Chinese hat...
...especially like the card that talks about the history of Stetson and their commitment to staying true to American values.

fits like a glove
I ordered this on a recommendation from a friend as birthday gift for my husband. The venting is great and offers good coverage without and overly large brim. The will definitely see a lot of use this summer.

Great hat except for floppy brim which causes feedback ringing for hearing aid wearers
It fit as expected. Quality material is good. Design is good except for one thing---the brim has no structure and is quite floppy. so much so that it has no shape and doesn't support itself. Those of us who use hearing aids, as I do, will experience significant ringing or feedback because the brim blocks the devices. Otherwise, with a more structured brim, I would have liked it and would have kept it.
