It survived a week in the desert with considerable weight and with me leaning on it a lot in stops on rocky terrains without any tears. I regreted buying a sack without a zipper opening for the main compartment (there's only an opening from the top, and you need to dig in deep to reach the opposite end), but that's just a matter of style. back comfort was great.Then again, I will only know if the bag is really good when I walk another 1,000 km with it.

I've been hiking backpacking for over 30 years and this is by far the best backpack ever. I first purchased this model 11 years ago and have put it through the ringer and it looks barely a year old. My son is finally my size so he inherited that backpack and I purchased this new version of the same pack for me. The biggest difference between the old model and this new one is the shoulder straps are noticeably thinner and there are no accessory straps on the shoulder straps for hanging carabiners with a whistle, compass, etc. Love this pack.

Great pack for the money. Held up just fine during a forty miles hike though the Olympic Mountains. Plenty of storage, enough organization to keep things separated, and the straps and belt are quite comfortable.

Its a good quality backpack, has a lot of features, but the straps are way too narrow what hiking backpack. It just does not feel comfortable, they start pushing in your shoulders even with light load, and that when backpack sitting on your waist. Returned it.

This pack is very comfortable for long distances with a heavy load.It isn’t super wide or bulky like some other brands. I like the color as well!

Took one trip with it, 5 days, did quite well, didnt hurt my collar bone or hips like the previous pack I had. Happy so far!

Great bag. Probably the most comfortable bag I have ever hiked with.

Loved this backpack. Easy to carry around lots of great features (sleeping bag compartment). Couldn’t figure out the day pack but maybe in my next trip :)
