Became unwearable after six months.
I bought these in August 2020, specifically to wear when walking the dog, and started using them around a month later. They felt very comfortable from the first use, but they failed immediately when my feet got absolutely soaked just from walking in a dew-covered field on their first outing (and, of course, immediately removing any possibility of returning them); they are even worse when walking in wet weather, when they are utterly disastrous.Against better judgment, some may say, I have persevered with these shoes, wearing them for dog walking (usually 3 or 4 x 15-20 minutes walking per day, so nothing excessive) and usually have to leave them to dry afterwards. Now, after six months of reasonable daily use (as above) they are now unwearable; invariably sodden, requiring regular drying out, and they absolutely stink. In short, started off as a comfortable pair of shoes but decidedly failed in respect of the purpose for which they were bought.

One of the best shoes
I walk a lot! And these seem to best shoes for walking. However after about 2 years they are no longer water proof.Whilst I would complain that shoes should last longer than 2 years, none of the shoes I have purchased have lasted more than 2 years - so maybe Iām being unreasonable.

Comfy but the soles wore out quickly
Lovely walking shoes but:They leak via the vent holes and after only a few months the soles have worn through letting water in. And I'm only walking the dogs on parks and paths. Very comfy but won't last. The soles don't stand up to regular trails. Very expensive.

Very Comfortable and dry despite rain and mud
These are very nice hiking shoes and whilst I only wear them for walking and not heavy duty hiking they have still coped well with muddy rural public footpaths and have been out in the rain with no issues.I like that they look more like trainers than hiking boots and are light to wear but also have the hardy qualities of a hiking boot.I am aware that one reviewer complained that the leather split but I have purchased some leather wax and hopefully that, with mud removal after each walk will keep the leather of my shoes supple and not brittle.Yes I like them

Great walking shoes
Ordered speifically for a recent trip to Devon with lots of walking so thoroughly tested within the last few days. Reason for buying was that I wanted a subtle walking shoe (not boot) that was also waterproof. These ticked both boxes.Fitting is good and as expected sized wise. Really comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time and no blisters on first day!! Briefly tested waterproofing and passed my test, plan to push them more in simulated environments in the coming weeks too and will update if anything changes.Overall, good grip, comfortable and waterproof. Nice shoes from a reputable brand too, would recommend.UPDATE: Poor quality, bought in August and one of the heels has already worn away - very annoyed with the poor quality. Great customer service from amazon who accepted a return.

Super light and comfy, they a little bit more expensive but when I wear them I don't complain š

Not waterproof and failed to return it
They're not waterproof. They leak water consistently. Inner sole moves around. Tried to return it. Hermes point didn't accept it because it had no box (amazon told me no need to pack it). Contacted amazon. They didn't help either. They were supposed call me but they just rang my phone. I didn't have time to return it later because I have enough in my plate. Wasted 70 quids for poor quality shoes. Wasted time in amazon chat. Wasted 1 hour trying to return it. I am usually satisfied with Amazon but this experience really put a distance between amazon and I.
