Belt was a perfect match

As all new belts are they are a little hard to put them on rather than taking the old one off is easy. Since, you could easy slip the worn off belt right off or cut it off. However, the new belt has to be stretched to fit back on. Once, you figure out where the spring is and find the way to close it the job get easy. I would however highly recommend cleaning the old stuck on grass from underneath the mower deck on the blade pulley and the drive pulley before reinstalling the new belt. This will help with the belts efficiency in the long run and as you use it occasionally get back under there and use a flat head screw driver on those pulleys to remove the grass will help reinsure you that the belt won't work its way back off the blade or drive shaft pulley as your using it. No one wants to stop in the middle of using it while the deck is loaded with wet grass to have to put the belt back on. It's happened to me and probably others so I just figured I mention it. Replacing the worn out belt will really help with the efficiency and speed of the mower. I would also advice replacing the drive shaft tires if there going bald or look worn out. That not only will give the mower more grip on the grass but will raise up the mower quite a bit especially if you find yourself cutting on a lower setting due to worn out tires. I would highly recommend this replacement belt and give it 5 stars.

Worked great

After going to Sears, and them not having the part, I went on Amazon, and this was listed as a replacement part for my Craftsman mower. I was very skeptical at first as this was not a genuine craftsman part, but this belt fit perfectly. Have used my lawn mower a few times with this belt on it and it works like new again. Very satisfied!
