The Bonai 16+2 Bay AA AAA 9V Battery Charger has been a really helpful addition to my gear — especially for supporting our church tech needs. It not only charges a large number of AA and AAA rechargeable batteries (up to 16 at once), but also lets me charge two 9V batteries at the same time, which is a huge plus. I use it primarily for charging mic batteries, lavalier (lapel) batteries, and 9V batteries for our bass setup — and it hasn’t let me down. Works to charge the batteries simultaneously but the screen is constantly flickering. This is extremely annoying, I had the unit replaced but the replacement behaved exactly the same way. I was unable to contact the manufacturer to determine if this is a defect or what, going to keep trying it and if it does not stop with the flickering, I will return before the window closes. I was hoping for this to be a long-term solution to becoming more ecologically responsible. Company reached out to me to address my concern acknowledging that they did discover an issue with a supplier and have resolved this issue. There is no doubt that this device works as described and is worth the money if you have several rechargeable batteries. Over time this can save you a bundle in replacement batteries for remote control devices. I am very happy with the way the company addressed my concern and have changed my rating from 1 star to 5 star. Feel confident purchasing this item. The Seller/Manufacturer stands behind their product and that is important when making any purchase. I need to make one more update to this review. The seller suggested a different charger also sold on Amazon that met the specifications and that definitively proved there was nothing wrong with the charger itself at all. I would 100% recommend this purchase if this is the type (capacity) of charger that you need...rechargeables save money and the environment vs non rechargeable types.

AA's seem fine but AAA's not so much. Typical scenario: Load 4 AAA's and then when you load the fifth one, batteries 2 and 3 pop out. Put those back in place and 4 and 5 pop out. Put those in and 1 and two pop out. This goes on and on until you fall to the floor laughing convulsively at the futility. Attempting to load all 16 slots with AAA's is an exercise in self hatred. If you enjoy excruciatingly long games of whack-a-mole this charger was designed just for you! Other than the pop out nightmare, it's fine. I like the display and the fact you can charge odd numbers of batteries and that you can mix and match AA's with AAA's. If you buy it I recommend you buy a wooden mallet to go with it. UPDATE: I had decided to simply keep this thing and deal with the whack-a-mole problem (could be helpful for boosting declining hand-eye coordination in us old dudes) but then it took 10 hours and 50 minutes to charge the 9 AAA's I was able to load into it. Rating dropped from 2 stars to 1 and this item is being drop kicked to the nearest UPS for return to Amazon. UPDATE: After posting my negative review the company reached out to me and made things right. They sent me a revised model and it works perfectly! GREAT customer service!

We purchased this unit 6 months ago, only used it slightly. When we went to use it the other day, it had failed. I contacted Bonai Power and they sent me a new unit. We had the new unit in a week. I really like this unit, it's ease of use and the clear, easy to read display. I am very happy with the support that was given, better than most companies we deal with. I am considering the purchase of other Bonai products as well now because of the prompt resolution of the issue that arose. Thank you!
