Safe for HP713 Printhead
I used this to clean the printhead (HP713) on my T650 36" plotter inkjet. It was safe for the part and cleaned it well.Use gently - forcing fluid with the syringe or using too much pressure can damage the plastic seal on the print cavity inside the print head and then you're screwed. That's a user issue not a product issue.Cleaning only works if a dirty or clogged printhead is the problem, so it's not a cure-all but if the problem is a dirty print head, this is safe and effective for an HP713.

It works...with caution and patience!
Have used this in the past and had great luck cleaning the print head of my old faithful Epson Stylus Photo 1400. They were really "gummed up" and it took a lot of patience to run cleaner through them at least three times..This happens when you haven't used the printer for an extensive period of time.(My Epson 1400 lay unused for 2+ years.) Or, have used the printer so much that ink gums up just from so much use. Set up over a large "pan" for over flow Don't do this in your living room or your rug may become a mess!Use lots of newspaper and those super absorbent towels that come in large multipacks. Use in a well ventilated room and wear protective non absorbing gloves. This may take two or three runs (cleanings) before it does the job, but it does work. When I was through the printer was like a new machine. My recent cleaning was so much easier since I use the printer quite frequently nowadays. It's worth the money, but check to see if it will affect your printer's warranty and if it should be used on your printer before buying the stuff and cleaning it.Good luck!

Printhead Hospital Injet Patients Do Not Respond
I have been re-inking inkjet cartridges for over thirty years and have experimented with a variety of inkjet cleaning fluids with varying levels of success. Printhead Hospital has been totally worthless, no matter how long you soak the cartridges. Don't bother wasting your money, this product does not work. I have given it many opportunities to actually do what it says it can do and it has yet to deliver.

Cleans printhead in an hour!
Bought a Canon PIXMA Pro 100 used, had completely clogged printheads (cyan, black). Bought this online because it was universal cleaner. Took out printhead and left in a shallow pool of this cleanser for an hour. Used a syringe to also make sure that the solution would be on top where the ink runs down through. The cyan hole was completely blue, showing how clogged it was. After an hour, poured it out, repeated this again 2 more times. Then used distilled water to do the same thing. Patted dry. The cyan hole is completely white now.Once dried, placed back in my Canon Pro 100 but the printhead test still showed a clog. needed to run 2 deep cleaning modes to agitate it a little and then it worked perfectly.

Sort of worked. Hoped it would be a bit stronger.
Sort of worked. The Cyan nozzle was clogged on an Epson WF-2750. Chipless firmware was installed so that refillable cartridges could be used. I learned that many cleaning cycles quickly empty out a filled cartridge. I filled a new empty cartridge with this cleaning fluid. A YouTuber said printing 20 pages of a purge image should be enough to clean an Epson printhead. So I printed 20 pages of the Cyan purge image until the color no longer showed. Then swapped the cleaning cartridge with a full Cyan cartridge and ran a couple of cleaning cycles and a nozzle check. It didn't help. I put the cleaning fluid cartridge back in and printed another 20 pages of the Cyan purge image. It did start to help but not completely. Guessing that printing another 20 pages would probably do the trick. But, I decided to order a cleaning kit that comes with a syringe, a rubber hose, and a different cleaning solution with good Amazon reviews instead. I had high hopes that the Printhead Hospital cleaning solution would be a strong one but apparently not.
