Looks great on counter top if you have an island

I thought this bread box was so cute but everything else in my home was stainless and it didn’t have enough storage capacity! Good price and good quality but unfortunately I had to return it because it didn’t suit my decor!

Its sturdy and top is surprisingly heavier than it looks. Hard to get the cover on and off as there is no handle. I put a handle in the middle of the lid, I used an off white ceramic drawer pull I had laying around, it matches perfectly and now the lid is easy to take off and put back on. I simply found the center of the lid by measuring and then took a cordless drill and drilled a hole for the bolt in the lid and screwed drawer pull on. Looks like it was designed purposely with a handle for the lid now.We typically only buy bread from the bakery which isn't the same dimensions of a standard loaf of bread so the bread will fit in no problem but if we want to put a standard package of English muffins in with it its a bit of a tight fit.Its well built, sturdy not flimsy and looks good on the counter, I'm not that much a bread eater myself but the wife is and the bakery bread always went stale quickly until we got this bread box so I'd say it does extend the freshness of bread products

Love this breadbox. It gives my kitchen farmhouse vibes, and can hold a lot! We can fit a good sized loaf of bread, some buns and small extras. Would recommend!

The worst. Keeps nothing out. Bread stays fresher in a pool of putrid water. Gonna use the top as an emergency cutting board in case the 3 we have stop working. Seriously the worst!

Disappointed bugs still manage to find their way in. I blocked off the airhole but they still get in.

I really liked the size! The bamboo lid could be used for slicing bread. The only problem was I got a splinter from the side of the lid. I sanded it a bit and haven't had a problem since.

This bread box does not hold 2 loaves of bread as advertised. I wished I had purchased a larger bread box.

Breadbox came quickly. Goes well with farmhouse decor. I added a handle to the top as it did not have one and was difficult to open but this just adds to the charm. Love it!
