This is a heavy duty, high quality cover that looks smart as well as functions brilliantly. I am so fed up that we wasted money on cheaper products that either tore or disintegrated. Our large Shanghai parasol stays out all summer as it's heavy but it was also expensive and worth every penny, so we want to protect it. This cover is perfect as it's made of heavyweight fabric, similar to high quality tent cloth. It has a long zip and a rigid (collapsible) thin pole that stays inserted in our cover which aids positioning and quick removal. It's just brilliant.

Comes in a smart package with the lift stick. Really protects the cantilever parasol. Very pleased with the product and it comes all the way from the US.

Great quality fabric and I love my chosen colour grey. Good length and protects my umbrella from stormy wet weather. I’d buy again but for me the zip is not long enough. This makes the cover tricky to lift over my parasol even with the provided wand. I have to stand on a garden chair ! Yes I admit that I’m not very tall and a friend who is over 6 feet tall managed the cover with ease. I do not have this issue with my other parasol cover from a different company. I like the small storage bag also in grey.

Fragile, flimsy and not robust. The zip bust within one week of use in the summer and now rendered useless. The extendable rod to fit the cover over the parasol is hard to manoeuvre as the rod collapses and fabric is flimsy.

Unfortunately the zipper only runs about half the length of the cover. Even using the pole you cannot reach to fit the cover over the umbrella without the use of steps. Rather defeats the object of having the pole. Poor design I am afraid.

Disappointing material quality. Plus very difficult to put on and take off as the telescopic rod keeps retracting

The quality is not as good as expecting and it arrived without an end on the zip so we had to repair before we could use. Wouldn’t buy again. Pictures advertised made item look more robust than it actually is.

The garden umbrella cover fits our umbrella perfectly - allowing us to leave the umbrella out every evening during this summer regardless of the weather. The fabric is strong and the cover comes with a long zip and pull tie to secure the cover against strong winds. There is also a useful expandable rod that is helpful when removing and replacing the cover over the umbrella - good product.

The product shown in the photos is completely different from the one I received. It has no air vent, and even the shape of the cover is different. On the positive side, the size is perfect for my 3x3 m large parasol, and it came with an adjustable-length stick, which is helpful for covering the parasol. However, be aware that the material is not as described in the photos. it is only a single thin layer of plastic fabric. Because the size is Ok, I’ll keep it and won’t return it.

It is doing good so far

Final revision: These were purchased December 2022 and have done a great job until now, July 2025. The covers have perished and the tops of our umbrellas are poking through. Maybe 2.5 years of Melbourne weather is about all we could expect. I am revising my earlier review (below) as despite my initial misgivings the cover has proved to be waterproof, phew. I won't know about the durability / longevity of the fabric for at least a year, so I'm giving the item five stars for now. Only two stars so far as I'm not sure whether the fabric will prove to be "water resistant" (listing title) or "waterproof" (about this item / 6th listing photo). See photos: the second photo shows the inside of the fabric, which feels lighter than I expected and doesn't scream "waterproof" to me. Time and a strong downpour will tell. As you can see, the cover fits beautifully - I'd thought it might be a bit long but happily it's not - and it appears to be very well made. If the cover proves to be waterproof then I'll revise my review and give it five stars.

Umbrella cover looks great and fits well. The fabric isn't as thick as i expected, the pole is in 3 pieces and could go higher. Despite that it's still a 5 star product.
