will this work to reach a 36 inch farmhouse sink?

Yes! We have this faucet installed with a 36 inch stainless steel sink that is 10 inches deep and it works great. It is well made with no plastic cheap parts!

Is the only way to keep the sprayer running is to push down the leaver? Is there a way to have the sprayer going hands free?

Yes.... on the back of the sprayer knozzle is the lever and you as you know pull it forward for a quick spray. If you want it to spray non stop you push that same sprayer knozzle back (instead of forward ) and as you push it back you twist it every so slightly to the left (while pushed out), and that keeps sprayer running hands free! It’s easy !

Does the hose pull down out of the spring?

The hose doesn’t pull down out of the spring; the whole thing moves down together, so the cooled up spring bends down as you pull the faucet head.

Can you install a 2.2 gpm for water pressure? did not purchase yet was affraid of the water pressure

We installed this unit (so easy to install) and while we loved how it looks - hated the lousy water pressure. After reading the Kraus reply, I disconnected the quick connect, removed the white plasic insert at the bottom, punched out the restrictor (again, so easy), reconnected an voila. We LOVE our Kraus 1603.
