Genuine HP photo paper works perfectly.
I bought this photo paper for printing my passport photos. The photos were taken at a local Walgreens and the operator used a photo retouching tool to modify the image background. That is expressly forbidden by the Department of State. Luckily the Walgreens system also sends an electronic copy of the original photo to you in email. I used those photos and my HP printer along with this glossy photo paper to print proper photos. By the way, the passport office states that the most common reason passports are rejected or take extra long processing time is improper photos; no glasses or hats and a relaxed face with only a slight smile. I would expect that when standing in front of the passport inspector you will not be wearing a hat or glasses and not smiling. Overall the paper is perfect for printing high quality photos for any purpose.

Does good prints as long as the printer works. Epson 8500 is NOT a good printer however good the paper is.
