Paradar 868Mhz LoraWAN whip antenna with SMA connector for LoRa, HNT, FLARM and Software Defined Radio (SDR) - 1x 5dBi

Excellent antenna that has more than enough reviews to highlight its effectiveness.It is a little more expensive than the questionables sold elsewhere, though, you wont go wrong with Paradar.

This antenna is well tuned to resonate at 868MHz with low SWR in this frequency.It performs best in straight position. See attached photos.I noticed good boost in receiving distant nodes in my Meshtastic experiments.

Got this to replace the stock antenna that came with my T3-S3 board and got a massive range boost. Definitely worth getting if you want a good antenna for a portable Meshtastic unit.

Nicely made antennae. Tested with my NanoVNA - less than 1.1 SWR. Around 1.06 to 1.09. Very happy with the performance.

Bought this as a value for money upgrade to the stock 3db antenna on my helium (HNT) miner. Used for a week and i would say is performing better than the stock antenna. Seem to be getting witnesses from a greater distance as well as more local ones. I am sure if you spend more and get an external antenna you would get better results but that isnt an option for my location.

My Heltec v3 boards came with sma stubby antennas. I could not connect with my nearest neighbour 5k away. Fitted these and was able to connect OK. What db improvement I cant say but a definite boost and worth the investment,

Always dubious about specifications when buying LoRa antennas. But this is perfect for UK 868. Very low SWR in that band.

Antenna arrived with quite the bend in the main body but having said that the SWR is below 1.5 and as low as 1.2 - seems to be tuned for better for 900mhz rather than 868mhz but not awful difference. Will have to see how it performs on the new meshtastic node.
