Really nice box! A bit smaller than I tought but was really fun to build and really good quality. I have used my woodworking soft beeswax instead of the candle wax they provide... I did not like it since it is hard to get all pieces waxed and doing more crumble than I like. Once well waxed it is awesome and opens like a charm. Somewhat hard to remove pieces from board , then used exacto to carefully remove pieces from board.

the only reason for knocking off stars is symantic. this is not an every person kind of gift, but for the right person it's an amazing gift. and as for easy to assemble- NO its NOT! but that's why it's great! The instructions are clear, the manufacturing is great, but it does take careful consideration and and attention to detail. You can't just throw this model together. but the end product is sturdy and well fitting and functional. I would definitely purchase another one from this company. Fun and challenging.
