Taste of Seattle Wherever You Live
When I lived in Seattle, I had the opportunity to try out many different coffee shops. There was even a barista in most convenient stores. But, it didn't take long to realize that Tully's (particularly their house blend) was by far my favorite. The House blend is a medium roast with a multidimensional flavor profile. It is definitely worth a try. Some other reviewers have compared this blend to Starbucks. Starbucks coffees are roasted for much longer. What you are tasting at Starbucks is the oils of the roast, not distinct flavors of the bean itself. Furthermore, it is a myth that darker roast (Roasted longer) coffee has more caffeine. This is completely false, darker roasts actually have LESS caffeine than a light or medium roast. I think one of the main reasons that Starbucks is on every corner all over the country is that most people go there for their variety of Frappuccino's, flavored syrup add-ins, etc. I rarely see someone walk into a Starbucks and order a black coffee. If you are looking for a coffee to brew at home that tastes amazing, Tully's is a great choice. It is the only coffee that I brew at home these days. When I make a pot for guests, they always comment on how the coffee is absolutely delicious. I order it from Amazon regularly because I can't find it in my local grocery stores. I have never had a problem with packaging or errors in my order.

Very good ... save money without sacrificing flavor!
I've always like Tully's coffee and this one is no exception. This was my first attempt of substituting ground coffee in my Keurig machine by using theĀ ekobrew Cup, Refillable K-Cup For Keurig K-Cup Brewers . I previously bought K-cups on a regular basis, but due to constant price increases that luxury has ended for me.What I discovered:- this twin pack lasted me 5 weeks (equal to 105 K-cups at 3 cups per day X 35 days)- I paid $13.99 (K-cup boxes would have cost me $59.98 at $29.99 per box X 2)- the flavor was fabulous, just like the K-cups- you can control strength by choosing more or less coffee in the Ekobrew (I fill to the max)I'm very happy now! I can still use my Keurig, get a great cup of coffee, for 1/4th of the k-cup price.Sure, it takes me a little longer to make coffee, then rinse out the Ekobrew, but this is still much quicker than using the old auto-drip type coffee maker.Price notes:- NEVER ever pay more than $8.99 per 12oz bag!- I paid $6.99 for "Starbucks Italian Roast" at Kroger (on sale)(my favorite coffee!)- I paid $4.50 for "Caribou Mahogany" at Publix (buy one, get one free deal)- Dunkin' Donuts coffee costs LESS at Dunkin' Donuts than AmazonIn our struggling economy, there are ways to save money with only minor sacrifices.I hope my review has helped,Jeff

Can't Beat TULLY'S!
Having lived in Seattle in the 90s, I never understood why Starbucks (or Char'bucks, as locals called them) dominates the market today. They over-roast their coffee according to many palates. But Tully's always gets it 100% right! Just enough roasting to bring out the full flavor of the bean without any char/burned overtones that other roasters have. I'll drink Char'bucks when it's the only thing around. But given a choice of walking into a Starbucks or crawling over razor blades to get to the nearest Tully's, I'm going Tully's every single time. And no, I don't work for/with them or in any way benefit from any facet of their business -- except drinking and enjoying their product!

Best Espresso yet
I've tried many brands of ground espresso and so far, Tully's is still the best. I would prefer it straight up espresso, but the blend will do until I can find the other. For some reason the grocery stores here seldom carry it. Tully's grounds its espresso beans for the espresso machine. It's a finer grind then drip grind. That's important if you want to get the bold full flavor of espresso. I start my day with four shots of espresso and really appreciate the bold, dark roast, full flavor of Tully's espresso.

Our favorite brand
Our favorite brand of coffee. We lived in the Seattle area for over fifteen years and grew addicted to this wonderful coffee. We're living in Texas now, and they don't sell this around here, so I have to order from Amazon. There is just nothing like Tully's. Best coffee there is. Always smooth, never bitter.

I'll miss you, Tully's
Tully's House Blend has always been my favorite coffee.. I moved back to California from Seattle 3 years ago and have not been able to purchase it locally. I've bought it a couple times on Amazon but it's pricey. Sad to hear that they have gone out of business.
