No manufacturer warranty - Buyer beware
I have been an Amazon customer since 2000 placing hundreds of orders a year and this is probably the 2nd or 3rd time I felt compelled to leave a review. Cisco does not honor warranty or support on Amazon sold products, at the least on this 48port POE switch. Due to time restraints I couldn't go through my regular distributors (TD, IM & D&H) and had to resort to Amazon for this item. I needed to ask a very simple question to Cisco tech support that I couldn't find an answer online and they flat out refused to honor the warranty and provide support even though it was well within 30 days of initial purchase (actually it was within the first week). They had me create Cisco accounts (on behalf of the user), divulge all sorts of company information, serial numbers only to say "oops sorry - no warranty to Amazon bought items". I told them that I needed a simple question answered and would be glad to take my business to Aruba or Fortinet and their response was "Yeah I think you'll have a faster response from them than us". I am so glad after I got my CCNA I dropped selling and supporting of Cisco products, let my CCNA expire and went with other better companies. Never again Cisco. Never again...
