It is true pleasure to write review for such MAGNIFICENT product. It is just perfect in every possible way.I opened the box and I already saw how well built and how heavy it was. the leg triangular part is very steady and strong, well build and very well weight so it hold the balance of the top incredibly well. To put together is just as breeze. and what is amazing is that this product has a feel like it is made of casted iron that is painted glossy rather then some cheap plastic or aluminum or something so prepare to get professional heavy duty item that one could use in a professional setting right oft the box.I love how you can adjust the angle of the flat part where you keep open music sheets. It can tilt as much as you wish. I have installed on this a violin hold for my little one and now it is so easy and accessible. Violin is ready to be played along with the bow attached to the top of the leg of this stand. Awesome.I bought it separately on amazon form some other seller. They work together brilliantly.I love this stand and it is absolute keeper. My favorite feature: surface, gorgeous finish, glossy many coats of paint, like a white car or better. color is awesome too, the white is not hospital cold white but a little warm white but not like yellowish. just perfect.Lastly, I have white wooden bookcase and it looks fabulous next to it. The stand is lovely—sturdy and effective. However, do be aware that a socket wrench and flathead screwdriver are needed for assembly. I was frustrated that this wasn’t mentioned on the description as far as I could find.

It replaced an old cheap one and I find it to be much more stable and solid. Good construction, so I expect it to last forever. The platform for music is larger than my generic one and deeper too. It holds more music, especially when it's in a book. I like that there are colors to choose from. / It does require two tools to assemble. Worth the money!

This appears to be the exact same design as one my mom has used for 30 or 40 years. I love its simple design and the fact that it doesn't easily blow over or break like the feeble ones I've used in the past. It doesn't fold up, so maybe this isn't for everyone. But it is perfect for me. The glossy paint job I chose seems to be holding up, though I haven't really put it to the test yet.

We already knew this was a great brand of music stand (strong, stable, easy to adjust on the fly), but the color options are new. I was wondering, so I will tell you: the color coating is shiny, not matte. The red is great, and having a color makes it look better sitting out in the living room like it always will. I have hardwood floors and had to place a second order for the soft vinyl feet covers so maybe order yours at the same time (they not only protect the floors when your kid tries to drag the music stand toward her, but also the walls when someone carries the stand to another room). Our package came without any assembly instructions, but Manhasset has easy to find written and video instructions on their website. Assembly was just a handful of steps but it does require a 11/16 wrench and flat head screwdriver.

Beautiful, professional, unparalleled, Manhasset quality! This stand, used by all the pros and music schools, will last a lifetime. White color is gorgeous, flawless. (And very modern, chic, no band-camp vibes.) Initially I was worried about the glossy finish based on other reviews, but we've had no problem whatsoever with sheet music or books slipping. It's perfect. So much so that I originally bought it for my daughter's ukulele and piano music (with the uke clip-on and accessory shelf) but will likely steal it for myself, on occasion. As musicians, we were taught at our music conservatory that the quality and value you invest in your craft and materials, elevates and becomes reflected in your performance. So that being said, get it right the first time and forget all the cheap, garbage, disposable junk iterations on Amazon: this is the one. You, and the blood, sweat, tears and magic of the music you and your loved ones will create--are worth it.

This stand is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble and once put together is easy to adjust (raise, lower, rotate, tilt). I use it to hold my laptop in front of my bike as I use my indoor bike trainer. I can then watch a bike training video and pretend I’m cycling through Europe! Love it!

It assembles and works exactly like the trusty music stand we all know and love. It's also a very, very sweet pink. It's great for more than holding music and a pencil (and a baton if you're in charge). It'll even do as a slim laptop stand in a pinch. What are you waiting for?
