This is the only Pencil Sharpener anyone needs. It works really well. I like that it can be used by plugging it into an outlet with the charger that is included. It has the ability to sharpen different sized pencil. The blade is nice and sharp and leaves the pencil points smooth and clean. It comes with an extra blade and the too. That is required to install the replacement. I got this sharpener to use in my classroom. I chose it because it was a good price with good reviews, and the details mentioned that it was "heavy duty" for classroom use. I was able to sharpen about 10 pencils great before the pencil point lead started breaking off. It would sharpen a pencil just fine, then the next one would break off causing the lead point to get stuck in the blade. I would have to open up the compartment where shavings collect, unplug it for safety, then use a sharp object to dislodge the lead point from the blade. I would then have to put it back together, plug it back in, and would get another one or two pencils sharpened before the same thing happened again. After dislodging about 8 pieces of lead I finally put it right back in the box to return. Perhaps this would work for home where someone is sharpening only one or two pencils here and there, but it is far from being ready for a classroom's heavy duty usage.

Pretty sure these reviews are planted. Everyone in my office hates thing, breaks the lead off most of the times, on a good experience it gives you a tip like a small golfing pencil

Just got it today. It works great on #2 pencils, The larger pencils too, but it doesn't shut of when I remove the pencil, so I have to get a small pencil and put into the small hole to stop it from running. It sharpens fast, and it comes out nice. if it didn't continue running I would give it 5 stars. I had purchased one that looks the same different company, the larger pencil slot didn't work at all, so I am returning that one.

This little sharpener is LOUD! It would not do for a classroom for sure. For home use it will be fine and does a good job sharpening pencils. It just sounds cheap and loud. Otherwise I think it will work well for my needs.

Works great. Make sure the pencil is pushed all the way into the sharpener for a perfect point.

Stopped working after 3 pencils. I thought some lead might be stuck in the sharpener so I removed the blade. I was unable to get the blade back in. If someone was able to easily replace the blade, please post to set the record straight, because I am convinced it is not possible. The instructions show a picture of the engaged screwdriver with a note "replace the blade"... not helpful.Update: The company responded to my post and refunded my money immediately. This leaves me with a very good impression of the company.

It does not sharpen properly. I liked the size and portability that is the only reason I gave two stars.
