8 year old son. He's short but a great player, not too bad at bat. I'm getting him the 27" but should I get him a -10 or -11 drop bat?

The problem is, they are not accurate in weight. I bought my son the 2022 Rawlings 5150 in a 28” drop 10. It should therefore weigh 18 ounces. It weighs 19.5. Plus, the 5150 is end loaded so it handles a little heavier than it’s weight. I would therefore opt for the -11 if I had to do it again.

Is this bat for Tball?

This is not really a teeball bat. It’s more for kids who are at a higher level than teeball, where kids pitch.

Why does the 29" take so long to ship?

Same with my order. Ordered it on june 22 aka prime day! Its now july 6 and they still haven't shipped it. It was advertised as a prime 2 day shipping item...still is. I guess if u need this intime for a tournament don't order the 29. I would take a different size if it would get here faster!

Just got the 26" 5150 for my son. It sounds like you're hitting the ball with rolled up newspaper. No ping at all. Is this normal for this bat?

Liked it so well we bought it again in a bigger size

Great bat that helps give them good bat speed. It is very durable having made it through a few seasons as well as playing with it all summer. We liked the bat so much that we bought another when they outgrew it. It has an extended sweet spot so that helps them get more hits.

Great price point bat

This bat gets great reviews for the price and they are right. The bat does seam to have a little more tip weight that the nicer bats but works will for my 7 year old.

Great bat heavy for a drop 10

Bought this for my 14 year old boy. Its a big stick! He loves it but it is heavy. I have a kid on the team that swings a 34" drop 3 and this bat weighs about the same.That being said if you have a big boy who can swing the bat then he can put it out there. for a smaller kid probably to heavy
