It works very well to keep your desktop unmarred, and has small areas to set screws and other small parts so they don't roll away. Unaffected by heat, so no problem soldering circuit boards on it, etc.

This is very durable, easy to store, and simple to use. As it states, there are different sizes. The smaller one is very useful for my projects. You can find comfort in knowing your soldering iron won't instantly burn it.

This mat works well when soldering. It does not burn and makes it easier to keep things better organized with the individual compartments at the top. I constantly use it when splicing wires together with or without soldering. It's just the right size. It's light weight and easily cleanable.

Work mat is really nice

Great for fly tiers. No slip. Lots of compartments for tiny beads and hooks. The magnetic compartments are great. Glues and resins do not stick or peel off when they dry. There is a well known company that makes fly tying accessories that sells basically the same mat at double the price, with less features.

Heavy enough not to slip, magnetic pockets work well, cleans up nicely with paper towel and alcohol.
