It is such a good product and I highly recommend this! I have tried the ones from Mexico and this product is almost all leaves!

I used this product for making pinto beans, white hominy and garbanzo beans (hummus). This product is not fine enough (leaves only) for this use. It has too many stems and stalks of the plant, that need to be removed before it is used. This was a disappointment and not worth the cost savings.

Thus does work to remove the gas effect from the beans. I always wondered why I never got gas from the Mexican restraunts refried beans and one time I asked. They told me and I tried it and man did it work.

Love the flavor but product needs to be ground since it consist of woody stems.

This is all hard woody stems! Horrible quality! And cannot be returned. Do not buy. Container on left is part leaves part stems that still need to be cleaned out. Container on the right is all stems! It is a complete mess of a product! If I could give it 0 stars I would!
