Superbly done and a very well balanced account of a key IJNAF aircraft. What more needs to be said?

Ich bin ja eh schon ein Fan der Osprey-Publikationen, aber dieser Band ist ein Highlight. Hervorragend geschrieben und bebildert (mit der Ausnahme, dass die Beschreibung des Bildes auf dem backcover nicht zum backcover passt) zu einem Thema, welches hier in Europa ansonsten eher stiefmütterlich behandelt wird... Kann ich nur empfehlen

If you're buying this to made a 3D model for a flight sim and you want information on the interior, bombsight, or internal structure then you will be dissapointed. With the exception of the colour plates, which are all side views, the rest of the images are black and white. The 3-views in the back are faint and do not have wing fillets nor does the fueselage. It is still worth having for the information but will not address all of your Betty questions.

Dieses Buch bieten einen sehr guten Einblick in die Geschichte der Betty-Einheiten und der Maschine selbst. Es werden viele Fotos und sehr gute Profile gezeigt. Ein Standardwerk für alle Interessenten an der japanischen Luftwaffe und dem Pazifikkrieg. Das Englisch ist leicht verständlich, leider schafft es kein deutscher Verlag, eine Serie wie die Osprey Combat Aircrafts auf die Beine zu bekommen.
