A Huge Improvement Over Cheap L-Shaped Brackets
These work very well if the rod diameter is very close to the 1" diameter for which this bracket was designed. They are much stronger than most of the more common L-shaped brackets. My only criticism is the that screws and plastic drywall anchors included with the brackets are the weak link: they are much too small to take advantage of relative strength offered by the bracket. I have two recommendations: (1) where possible, screw into studs, using longer, heavier screws than those supplied, and (2) if you must mount this to drywall, then use a sturdier type of drywall anchor.

I recommend these
These were exactly what I needed. I have 1-inch curtain rods and chose to remove the white plastic piece (I didn't NEED to for the fit, but wanted to for the all-black look). They are sturdier than expected and are holding up room darkening eight foot curtain panels on an inch rod with no problems at all. I am so pleased with how the look and how easy they were to install. Love them!

Perfect when paired with a 3/4” black pipe to hold curtains
I used these and a 3/4” black pipe to make a very nice curtain rod. The 3/4” black pipe snaps in perfectly

Good but the dry wall anchor are not all that great
I recently purchased the Curtain Rod Bracket, Heavy Duty Curtain Rod Holders for my home and I have to say, I'm quite impressed with their performance. These brackets are definitely heavy duty and are capable of holding even the heaviest curtains with ease. The sturdy construction gives me peace of mind knowing that my curtains won't come crashing down unexpectedly. Installation was fairly straightforward, although I did have a bit of trouble with the included dry wall anchors. They seemed to strip bend very easy. However, once installed, the brackets felt solid and held the curtain rod firmly in place. The design is simple and unobtrusive, allowing my curtains to take center stage without any distracting hardware. I appreciate the low profile of these brackets as it keeps the focus on the curtains themselves. The only reason I'm giving these brackets a 4 star rating instead of 5 is because I do wish the included dry wall anchors were of a higher quality. Additionally, I found that the brackets didn't fit all types of curtain rods, so it's important to make sure your rod is compatible before purchasing. Overall, the Curtain Rod Bracket, Heavy Duty Curtain Rod Holders are a reliable and sturdy option for anyone in need of heavy-duty curtain rod brackets. Just be aware of the dry wall anchor and compatibility with your specific rod.

Simply to install, nice look
These worked nicely for hanging an art quilt. I liked their simple look but they don’t even show behind the hanging; it seems to float in the air!

Sturdy, way better than single bent-bracket designs
I had single L-bracket rod holders and they bent easily, these are quite sturdy. I haven't tried to purposely break them, the extruded aluminum is still pretty thin, but the simple fact that they are a rigid design is already a huge improvement over the single pieces of bent steel most stores sell. The ridged plastic grips also snap onto the curtain rod and hold it very well. Only thing I'd recommend is toss the useless screws and drywall anchors and get some better ones from the hardware store. Drywall anchors shouldn't even be necessary, if you're putting these up for a window curtain you can screw into the king-studs on either side of the window frame. But the included screws are too short to get decent thread engagement through 1/8" of metal and 1/2" of drywall, some slightly longer screws would be nice. If you do have to use drywall anchors just buy the better quality screw-in type you can find at any hardware store, the anchors that come with this are almost useless.
