Good value for money

Two RC boats were ordered, one works fine, the other does not (the motors cut out after going forward for only two seconds). Return to Amazon is not possible from Ireland because the package contains Li-Ion batteries which An Post and couriers do not accept. Seller “Grancei” does not react to requests for repair or replacement. It used to be possible to talk to a person at Amazon, a real human, to resolve situations like this over the phone. Not any more. Be it phone or chat, you can only “communicate” with an AI entity that follows a pre-programmed decision tree. You may as well talk to the wall.

Review amended- Boat needs to be in water to work. Props won’t rotate if out of water. While it says this in the info on Amazon it does not say it within the instructions as I had forgotten until I looked at the info again. Works well in a swimming pool.

We took this abroad on our villa holiday and it was a great play thing for the pool. For the money the battery life is great, it has decent speed, and the controls are easy to get to grips with. The fact it had an extra battery meant for even longer play times, though my son typically moved on to play with something else well before they ran out of power.

I love them, and the kids love them. Delighted with this purchase, absolutely brilliant

I brought this for my son's birthday he's just opened it and it doesn't work! Lights work but does not go along! After how much I spent on it it's not worth the money at all. One very disappointed little boy!

Perfect for my son he loves it. Approx 15 minutes of drive time on a charge which is OK as it comes with three batteries so you can spend a bit of time playing with it. Controls are responsive and the range is quite good too.

Leider nicht das was wir uns erhofft haben. Direkt bei der ersten Fahrt war es undicht und von der Verarbeitung her insgesamt billig gemacht. Ging schnell wieder zurück.

Tutto come da offerta, non è ermetico e quindi si consiglia di non usarlo con onde accentuate, svuotare spesso il vano motore dalle possibili infiltrazioni, funziona anche in acqua di mare ma da fare girare le eliche subito in acqua dolce per dissalare il metallo della trasmissione e dei contatti di sicurezza.
