OMG... Soooooo many brushes!! 29! For next to nothing price wise, but that’s not all, I’m picky, I’ve been applying makeup in light to dramatic looks since I was a young girl. I’ve used drug store cheap brushes, Shu Umera extremely expensive brushes, Sephora cheap and pro brushes, NYX professional, Quo, Bareminerals, brand with-pallet brushes and on and on -I’m a hot 42yr old so I’ve seen it all in 25yrs. Looking on Amazon and seeing crazy cheap prices I didn’t expect much as far as quality. But as I continued to research, I started noticing that there are some brush sets that stand out. And I also began seeing that there are some brush ghost sets that are EXACTLY like the more expensive ones in major name brands. As if they are from the same original source but out sourced to different companies. People don’t realize that for Brand name brushes or like Quo they have to up their brush prices to make a profit selling them to stores and paying for packaging and advertising. So if the maker can just sell straight wholesale on Amazon they can sell at a cheaper price with less costs. So.. what caught my eye about these, is the sheer # of brushes in every type almost - for professional use, with goat hair and synthetic varieties for specific uses, the compact case they come in for easy clean storage and travel, the price!, the few great reviews AND the care to detail in Doclor’s description of their product which “said” this is a product we are proud of and is of quality. In my experience when a company puts a lot of attention to explain their product it usually speaks volumes in the quality of what you might get. I was hopeful and when I finally got it OMG! Beautiful SOFT high quality mixture of brushes. I checked each brush for any looseness in the handle with the metal part -none! No fall out of hairs, NO bad smell, brush colour is a beautiful natural grey-lavender colour, not brown or black. Mixed with white goat hair only brushes, super soft synthetics, and synthetic for the right brushes. Nothing feels cheap in here! These ARE higher quality than Quo, the basic Sephora collections, and on par with the high end brands. Seriously. I feel like I got a $600-$800-1k set for under $50. They even included a lip brush with removable bottom that fits over the brush as it’s cap to throw in your purse for touch ups without having to wipe it off or it get dirty in your bag. The handle colour is chic and looks rich. The only 3 things missing in this extensive set are a brow shaping spool and mini comb, but that’s not a necessity and a fan duster brush -again not a necessity and a chubby flat cropped kabuki blending brush. Having said that, with all the blending face brushes you get, you can easily do without those with the variety in this set. The case isn’t flimsy or tacky. It’s very nice and again on par with what you’d get at Mac or Sephora or with high end brands. I kept a screen shot of the Docolor ad for these brushes that have them #’d with the name of what the brush is for which is VERY helpful for those who have never used an extensive set and not sure what each is for. It would be great if Docolor included a #’d legend with the case, of each brush but I guess to stamp #’s on the brush handles or use a photo paper legend might be extra cost and drive up the price so for me I can use the online photo legend but it still would be nice if they could do that and still keep the price low. This is such a mind blowing awesome set, that if I knew a makeup lover girl like me, it would make a stellar gift. Tip: for the natural bristle brushes in this set, use a dab of hair conditioner after washing gently and reshape before you hang them in a drying brush tray or lay flat on a paper towel. Wipe the brushes with a daily makeup brush cleaner spray on a paper towel. I love Sephora’s daily brush spray cleaner. You won’t breakout and your makeup goes on better with clean brushes between washings! Anyway, I can’t rave enough about this set. It’s probably the best deal on amazon for a full detailed set with a holder case for all these to keep them safe from dust and getting squished. This is a lottery set. Get it before it’s gone. You can create complex or any gorgeous look with these and a must for a makeup artist! Hope this helps you choose!

Excellent quality at unbelievable price
This is my first ever brush set, and I was really stressed about finding good makeup brushes because 1) I’m a makeup newb, 2) watching all the lovely YouTubers out there with their PR packages and expensive brands (which I will probably never purchase myself) left me at a bit of a loss to know where to turn for accessible options, and 3) I also didn’t know which brushes and techniques would work best for me, so I wanted to experiment with different types but without breaking the bank. This set has been amazing from the word go.Pros- affordable- I really appreciate the variety. I feel that, although there are definitely other brush designs out there to try, the variety in this set provides the tools to achieve any look I would want *with the exception of a good eyeliner brush. I cannot master the skinny pointed #155 but I have a tapered stiff brush from another set that I love to use because it performs so well.- super high quality (durable, soft, seem well-made)- perform well- nice feel and look to them. They are NOT cheap feeling or looking. I enjoy using them from an aesthetic perspectiveCons- personally a few of the “eye” brushes seem useless to me because they have very flat, and fat (wide), blunted tips instead of tapered ones (#172 and #145) but I’m a newb so it could be that I just don’t know what to do with them. Another brush that I personally find useless is the #155 eyeliner brush because I can’t really master picking up enough product to get a continuous line without dipping back into the pot repeatedly. Could be put down to user error.- I wish DOCOLOR had printed the name/use of the brush on the handle but I agree with other reviewers that I can deal with numbers and a legend if it keeps costs down this low!

I'm in love with the quality and design!
The media could not be loaded. These brushes are not just sooo pretty, but they're also really well made. The powder, contour and highlight brushes are very fluffy that you barely feel them on your face. On the other hand, the brushes with shorter bristles/hairs are the opposite of that; the stippling/foundation brush especially is very dense and sturdy. However, the short ones with rounder edges, can feel rather sharp on my skin, but I'm assuming it is because I have a condition that makes my skin quite sensitive. They have a bit of weight to them, not much, but it's something to consider. No hairs have come out even after washing them, and the metal band has not come loose yet. The material of the hairs is pretty slick making it easy to clean, but they DO pick up product and don't eat it up. They appear shinier on camera since I used flash to take the pictures and video.Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I only hope the manufacturer makes a makeup bag with the design that comes in the box cause it's so cool.Update: The overall quality is good, I've had them for several months and no hairs have come out, however, the golden design has faded. They still look good, but they're just red and blue brushes with a golden band.
