ULTRA GALAXY MEGA MONSTER BATTLE - SERIES BD

I have been greatly anticipating each new release of the various Ultra series from Mill Creek. I especially love getting the Bluray sets because in the past I've had spotty internet service, so watching these series through Toku or other streaming services has, at times, been a challenge. Also, you are also at the mercy of the various streaming services and whether or not they continue to carry series/movies that you are interested in. For example, I was subscribed to Toku through Amazon Prime up until January when they suddenly announced that many of the Tsuburaya series were no longer going to be available.Luckily, I have gotten a stronger, more reliable internet service. Also, having digital access to the Mill Creek releases through the Movie Spree site has been a delight when I 've been away from home and want to catch-up on my Ultraman viewing on my phone or iPad.So Imagine my disappointment when I opened this set and found no digital code (Spoiler Alert: I also purchased the Ultraman Zero set that was released the same day, and there's no digital code in that one either!).Other than that, though, these sets are of the same high quality as the other Ultra series that Mill Creek has released. I highly recommend these sets to ALL Ultraman fans!

While the overall quality of the package is fine, this set, along with the Ultraman Zero set, does not include a guide booklet or a MovieSpree code. I did message a Mill Creek representative who did confirm for me that neither set was ever intended to include either item. Now, the MovieSpree code being missing isn't the biggest deal in the world. Having digital copies is nice for convenience, but not essential for me. The booklets, however, have been one of my favorite parts of the Mill Creek Ultraman releases so far. The fact that this set did not include one is a massive disappointment to me. I truly do hope Mill Creek offers a booklet to those who purchased this set, as I would absolutely love to have one.

I'm really happy and excited that ultraman is coming stateside nearly completely. Unfortunately they have stopped giving digital codes. While that's a minor inconvenience I am confused on how or why the official subs end up worse than free fansubs. In this set specifically I've consistently noticed words missing or replaced with similar looking words (think with and will) happening at least once an episode. Also on a more minor complaint they don't subtitle any of the post credit content leaving about 3 minutes unsubbed in each episode which is frustrating. Will continue to buy the franchise unless gridman has the same issues

I love the series, and watching the Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle the Movie was fantastic. My only gripe is that unlike earlier Ultraman Blu-Ray sets, there was a code one could use to be able to stream it digitally. Since my laptop is unable to play Blu-Rays, I would use the digital code to watch the series. Ultra Galaxy unfortunately does not come with such a code.Otherwise, this is a great series which introduces the concept of battling with Kaijuu (from various Ultraman series) via Pokemon style. ^_^ I felt this is a good way to introduce people to the Ultraman universe as seen through human eyes, an unusual concept since Ultraman and Ultraseven only appear in limited roles.

This video looks and sounds amazing. I was disappointed that this release doesn’t include a digital code, like the other releases. I love that they include an English dub of the Mega Monster Galaxy movie. I hope to see more of that in the future.

I honestly only bought this set for the film which features the debut of both Ultraman Belial and Ultraman Zero. The film is worth owning the whole set. The only thing that I was very disappointed about is this: all of Mill Creek's previous Ultraman blu-ray releases came with a redemption code for a digital copy of your purchase via the Movie Spree streaming service. This set is the first of the Ultraman releases that did not include such as redemption code. Oh well...

Great series close to ultrsuniverse

「ウルトラマンゼット」の素晴らしさに感動し、たびたび出てくるベリアルとウルトラマン達の因縁を知りたくてタイトルのBOXを購入した。しかし、以下のがタイトルの映画は、正に「大怪獣バトル」の映画版なのでイマイチ設定が理解出来なかった。『大怪獣バトル ウルトラ銀河伝説 THE MOVIE』そこで、amazonで、このblurayの存在を知り購入した、結果として、漸く設定も分かりBOXも楽しめた。しかも日本ではDVDのみで現在在庫切れ。それが安価でblurayで購入出来るのは素直に、嬉しい。なおamazonの商品説明では1枚のが円盤と表記されているが実際には5枚。HDリマスターは「ティガ」位。中々良いレベルだ。にしても。このソフトは「ゼロBOX」に特典映像として収録して欲しかったな。「ウルトラマン前夜祭」のbluray販売と言い、本国よりアメリカの方が頑張っているようなのが複雑な気持ちになる。
