I was hesitant to order this product. But this product has been a godsend for our puppy of 5+ months who previously would not stop barking. I had bought a spray bark collar years ago for another dog and sadly, it did not work that well because of issues relating to spray buildup. However, this bark collar has been great so far and not had any of those issues. AND FINALLY, AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT NO BARKING!I really appreciate that the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The pamphlet that is sent with the bark collar also gives a good overview of how to maintain the spray opening clear and free of residual residue which is a common issue among bark collars.Give this product a try! Plus, you cannot beat the quality for the price. Nearly the exact same bark collars are available at Petco and Petsmart but are easily double what this costs for the exact same quality. And the bark collar does fit a variety of dog sizes which is great for folks with multiple dogs. PLUS, the seller has a great warranty policy. Highly recommend!

So this worked like a charm when I purchased this at the end of June. I have a one year old medium sized dog that just loves to alert me of anything.. and EVERYTHING. I asked my vet what would be the best humane way to help control this and he suggested a bark collar. So, why not? I found this one — bit the bullet and spent $60. I live in an apartment and it’s not fair to everyone else to have to also go through it.It was shipped fast, the instructions are a little strange and you can tell they’re interpreted to English. No big deal— easy enough it’s basically just charge (when it’s needed), turn on/off, spray strength.Worked great for a month — it was a little startling for him but that’s the point. Then I noticed he was barking more and more. Checked the collar — it didn’t need charged still (wow) and it was still somehow full? I cleaned the ports as mentioned in the instructions (though they looked the same), checked to make sure it was comfortably flush against my dog’s neck (it was). It’s always turned on because I always check, fully charged, clean, and flush.The barking has gotten worse so I decided to call Amazon for product help. I explained everything that was going on — they attempted to contact the manufacturer but it’s based in China so they were unable to reach out to anyone. I was like okay, that’s fine, can I just get my money back, please. Well now I’m only getting $48 back because it’s internationally sold (?) and there’s a restocking fee in place since it’s out of warranty even though the product is defective.I was told I could get an Amazon based credit back for $12 which can only be used on products sold/shipped by Amazon — not a third party. Which is 99% of what I buy.So in all, I’m short the cost, and I have to take the time to drop this back off at UPS. All for a product that was basically one big headache.

Battery held its charge very well. However it was difficult to get it to work. Directions seemed easy but we couldn’t get it going. When I finally did get it to work (not sure how I got it going) it worked great for my dog. Unfortunately after about a month I must have pushed a wrong button and it stopped working again. I gave up and ordered a different collar.

Works very well. Have to charge frequently (daily, not every two or three days) and keep it full. Can't see whether it is full or empty. First few times it scared her and she ran back to the safety of our sofa. She had no idea. It reduced the barking by at least 90%. She seems calmer and more content and she is not afraid when she barks and a little mist comes out. If the charge ran out, she did bark more but we have also noticed several times when she has not worn the collar that she has been quiet. I worry about the battery not holding a charge very long. It would be nice to know if the spray needed to be refilled--but now I just recharge and refill often. Daily for the charge. I also worry about buying another canister of citronella. The spray is proprietary. Instructions are not quite clear but it is intuitive. Just remember to keep the collar charged. Turn off to refill it (10 seconds from inverted canister.) I highly recommend. Before buying, I read and considered the other types of collars and the yard sonar barking devices. Also, I purchased a hand held sonar device. I needed something that immediately, proactively reacted - to teach and encourage no inappropriate barking. I would buy this again and might buy as a gift. I recommend it because it is not harmful, does not hurt, and it works.

I had tried a couple of other non-shock collars, but they just didn't work for our 2 yr. old male Golden Retriever.My dog's barking issues were cured within 1 day. He would bark numerous times at birds, planes, people, any animal or mean person on TV. He just like to hear himself bark. Once we had the collar, he barked outside at the garbage truck, got sprayed, and immediately stopped. He barked at people walking their dogs way down the street. One spray, and he stopped. Inside the house, he always barked at animals on the TV. One spray, and he stopped.It still allows him to bark once, so we know he wants out or is alerting us to something, but he quit unnecessary barking immediately. Once we took the collar off (after a week) he slowly learned he could bark a couple of more times without a correction, so we put the collar back on for a day. Problem solved.The training did not keep our dog from barking aggressively to drive a coyote from our yard, but then he went back to not barking at other things.

This collar was awesome and definitely worked for my barking dog. After 2 weeks, it just stopped working. Amazon customer service was great. Now off to buy a different brand. I’d recommend buying a cheaper version.
