Am basically an electronic and watch hobbyist for the past 40+ years based out of Chennai. I have variety of SS Tweezers and also brass ones. During lock down, had lot of time to explore my hobby and found out to go for new quality tweezers. Hence, after going thru Amazon and reading customer reviews, decided to place an order for a set of ESD coated ALIS Tweezers - angular one and straight sharp one (Model: Black Q45) costing Rs.219/-. Within few days, received the tweezers. Product is as depicted in Amazon. The feel, build and quality is excellent. Both the tongs are evenly precision shaped with fineness of professional quality. It could pick up individual hair of my hand! ALIS Brand has lived up my expectation.Packing was good with bubble wrapping and individual plastic safety cap as seen in the picture. Pleasantly surprised to find a visiting card of Mr.Neeraj Verma, Chairman of ALIS.As it was mentioned that it's made of SS material, just to doubly sure, which I normally do, tried taking it near a magnet. While the functional portion doesn't get attracted, the spring tension (folded) portion get attracted mildly! As I wanted to give a feedback, I immediately called Mr.Neeraj. He responded immediately. He patiently heard me. Then he explained that this being 304 grade SS, while forging the top portion of tweezer to give the spring tension effect, it naturally tend to get magnetized mildly which is unavoidable. If one want a 100% anti-magnetic tweezer, then he has to go for 310 grade SS which is 3 times more expensive. You get what you pay for! I could see the passion with which Mr.Neeraj explained his product, company etc. Understand from him that his great grand father founded this company and he's the fourth generation running it with passion. Highly customer-centric approach that too coming from the Chairman of the company. I could see it as am also a Director & CEO of a leading RE company. It was a pleasant surprise for me. I wish Mr.Neeraj and his company all the very best and keep up the excellent work !Have given 4 stars short of one as SS grade was missing in product description which is critical !Note: This is not company sponsored review. I do not know neither any of the employees of ALIS brand nor the Chairman, Mr.Neeraj. Am a first time buyer of ALIS brand and have given my honest feedback and exprience as a customer.
