This book fell very far short of what the product description and Amazon.com reviews led me to expect. At best, this book is a shallow overview of aquaponics and hydroponics. I already had a good idea of what's involved in making an aquaponic system from watching many Youtube videos and reading websites. This book does not provide any plan or blueprint. There are some diagrams, but Youtube videos give a clearer impression of what's involved.Just to give one example, this book never mentions chelated iron. There is no index or glossary. The author occasionally gives advice like "do some research" to find out what options are possible. My reason for buying this book was to find out what options exist, not to be told to look somewhere else to try to find information. Other times he suggests that the best source of information is someone selling aquaponics equipment. That might be true, but I'd rather have a more impartial source of information, and I bought this book because I wanted a book that's a source of information.The text is large with a lot of white space on every page. I suppose that means it's easy to read, but my point is that the quantity of text is small for the number of pages.

mi aspettavo qualche dettaglio tecnico in più e qualche immagine che rendesse più facile capire i passaggi per la costruzione delle varie strutture di contenimento, per fortuna internet è piena di immagini che spiegano le stesse cose, quindi probabilmente tutte le fasi costruttive si potevano saltare a piè pari nel libro.

Was expecting much detailed information with modern techniques ... however book covers basic required information

This book sounded perfect..but it is LARGE print, very thin, and full of grammar erors and missing punctuation!Once you get past that there is SOME useful information..but the sections I wanted to have more had less and the sections that needed less had to much...Some goid background/history but not much help for actually setting up an aquaphonic system.
