Summer Hat for Women Wide Brim Sun Protection Foldable Beach Safari Hat UPF Large XL Big Navy Siggi

I wore this for a day around Disney to test it out, and overall it held up pretty well! I got the size large because I know I have a big head :) It was 90 degrees that day but my neck and my forehead never overheated, which I appreciated. I did take it off every once and a while when the very top of my head started to feel warm. I’m black so obviously I have a bit of a built in sunscreen, I don’t know if I would recommend it for someone with fair fair skin. I would probably invest in a super heavy duty sun hat and live in sunscreen. But for me, it was perfect. Also easily folded down to fit in my backpack. I washed it and didn’t shrink at all either.

Because this was such a deep shade of blue, I was worried that the dye would run as happens with newly purchased jeans. The label said handwash, but I put it into my washing machine inside a lingerie bag and used the delicate setting. I air dried it afterwards. That worked very nicely. I threw a couple of Shout-brand color catchers in the machine when I washed it to see if any of the dye ran, but the color catchers came out white, so no worries.

I absolutely LOVE this hat! The brim is wide enough to protect my face, but not so wide as to be in the way or obnoxious to others. I love how I can tilt or shape the brim and I can fold the hat or even crumple it into a wad when I am in a rush to tuck it in my bag! No wrinkles! I have a big head, so finding a hat to fit my noggin well is always a struggle - I bought a large and it is great! I can fit my head AND my hair-do if it is in a bun or a ponytail! I can't say enough about how much I love this hat... I'm planning on buying a few more in different colors!

This fit perfectly and in windy March Florida gulf weather, stayed on with the straps. Not to mention it's cute. A winner!
