I put this product on my boat to monitor temperature remotely instead of using a more expensive wireless thermostat. It works great and notifies me according the settings I added. Helps me monitor temperature , wind and moisture remotely and provides peace of mind. Only downside is that I can't use it when disconnected from wifi when I'm boating, but it is more for monitoring temperature during cold weather.

I bought this weather station in the summer of 2020 to replace an ancient La Crosse model WS-9020U-IT and I'm actually glad the old one failed. The S82950-INT is a major improvement. The backlit color display is nicely arranged and colored to make it easy to read. The initial setup was simple and the base unit picked up all three sensors quickly. Current conditions and the 12-hour forecasts both appear to be pretty accurate. The only thing I wish it had is an easy way to wall mount it. That said, because this model must be plugged into a wall outlet, there would be a cord dangling from the bottom so maybe sitting on a flat surface is by design.Update: I'm dropping one star in my overall rating. The outdoor temperature/humidity sensor eats batteries like there's no tommorow. I replace them in pairs using fresh, name brand alkalyne or lithium batteries. They last about three months at which time the low battery icon appears on the base station display. A short time thereafter that section of the display will shut down. I thought at first it was due to cold winter temperatures but I replaced the last set in mid-spring and here we are in mid summer and the low battery indicator is on again. And I don't think my luck is such that two different brands of new batteries all had defects. Batteries in the anemometer and moisture sensor are fine.Update: I contacted La Crosse support and explained the problem I was having with battery life in the remote sensor. Support said it was due to a defective sensor. They asked for my shipping address so they could send me a replacement. That's impressive service as the unit is currently a year and four months old. I'm reinstating a fifth star.Update: January 2023Batteries in the wind sensor finaly died after 2-1/2 years. Replaced them and the sensor came back online. Easy peasy!Update - July 2023After three years the base station flipped out. It spontaneously turned on alerts and started beeping 5-chirps every minute. I made several attempts to turn off the alarms to no avail. They kept turning themselves back on. It's also alerting me to high winds (69MPH) on a perfectly calm summer morning. Bummer! I just placed my order for a new one.

This La Crosse Weather Station has a nice display and offers more functions than the black and white temperature and humidity weather station that it replaced. The Wi-Fi feature makes it easy to monitor the system on your phone. I have had some issues with internet connectivity, and with the base unit crashing. I read in other reviews that customer support was not that good. However, my experience with their customer support team has been excellent. They have responded within hours to my support requests, and have gone beyond expectations as far as technical assistance, replacement equipment, and helping me understand and operate their Weather Station.
