Barely 2 minutes out of the box and the water bottle holder elastic snapped -- I didn't even have a water bottle in it yet! A waist pack that won't hold a water bottle is totally useless. Obviously shoddy construction.Update: 9/26/16 Updating my review -- the seller voluntarily sent me a new pack and this one is better made. Apparently they have changed the way the water bottle holder is made, it is now a different type of elastic. This is indeed a large pack, so if you want a trail pack that holds plenty, and is expandable, it should be a good choice.

I would of loved it but it did not come with adjustable strap for the harness. The gray harness strap was on to the fanny pack but it was missing the left side. So I had to go buy BLACK strap and replace both harness to match both side. I am sure it was error on packing..I did purchase 6 of them and the other were outstanding bags and rated 5 star.

Love this waist pack!! Lots of room and so comfortable I didn't even notice that I had it on while hiking. I haven't tried it in the back pack form yet.

Awkward. Hangs on the top. Strings broke right away.

Would have given this item a high rating for design and price, but the front zipper kept separating the first time I used it. Too bad. I've returned it.

Con: First time pulling the draw string to tighten along the water bottle pouch, the string on one end detaches from bag.Bag itself is spacious, and I tended to put too much in there, but between the shoulder and waist straps, it gets positioned right on my back that I hardly notice the excess weight in the bag. I like all of the loops where the straps would go depending on which you use, so when not in use I clip one of my many caribiners to it.

After having bought, they came failing, first it is not waterproof, it does not resist the rain. The "basket" to locate a bottle of water was uncovered.

Began using it at work as soon as it arrived, it surpassed my expectations. It fit all my stuff for work plus more stuff. It was rugged enough to scrape across rugged surfaces. Very happy with this purchase for the price
