Good Speakers at a Great Price
I recently bought the Amazon Basics Computer Speakers for my desktop, and I am happy with my choice. These speakers are affordable and perform well, making them ideal for anyone who wants better sound without spending a lot.Setting them up was easy. I plugged them into the wall and connected them to my laptop. They fit well in my workspace because they are compact and have a simple black design that looks professional. The sound quality is clear, and they get loud enough for everyday listening. They work well for music, podcasts, and videos. While they don’t have heavy bass, the sound is balanced and good for regular use.The price is great for what you get. I didn’t expect much at this cost, but they work well. They are reliable, and if you don’t need top-of-the-line audio, these speakers are a good choice.Overall, the Amazon Basics Computer Speakers are a strong option for anyone looking for a low-cost audio solution for their computer. They are perfect for casual users and offer good performance for the price. Highly recommended!

Solid budget speakers with one major flaw
These are exactly what you’d expect from Amazon Basics — basic, functional, and solid enough for casual use.The sound clarity is perfectly acceptable for everyday tasks like YouTube or podcasts, and the volume control is simple and responsive. I like that the on/off switch is integrated into the dial, making it easy to use without fiddling around. They're also lightweight and take up very little desk space, which is a plus. The build quality seems decent for the price — no obvious faults, and they’ve held up well so far. The design is plain, but clean enough — they look fine alongside most setups. However, the blue LED on the front is unreasonably bright. It’s harsh enough to be distracting, especially in dim lighting. I’ve had to layer up some masking tape over it — and even then, it still glows through. It’s a strange design choice that stops me giving these five stars.Still, for the price, they’re a good option — just be prepared to deal with that little blue beacon.

Cheap, good for listening to speech, covering the power light necessary, too bright.
Cheap, good if you want to just listen to YouTube videos, not anything requiring HiFi quality. As others have commented the blue light is far too bright and distracting so I just stuck a paper label over it, trimmed and coloured it black to dull it down a lot! Worthwhile purchase.

Simple and cheap, great for small setups.
Nifty speakers that look decent and function as you'd expect for the price. The audio quality is rough around the edges, especially at higher volumes. It seems to relay the sound of the machine that it is plugged in-to at times: I intended on using these with my PC, but the idle static made it very difficult to enjoy any sounds - it was so intense that it would even over-power the sound of games / videos. After a while of use, the audio adapter stopped working with my computer, which was rather unfortunate, but I later realised that it was a problem with the computer rather than the speakers. The sockets are easy to use and setup is as simple as plugging it in.This being said, I got an audio adapter for my iPhone to play music from Spotify, and the problems practically disappeared. I'd recommend it for a simple home speaker system for use with an iPod or something, but not as anything more.Overall very good. Light-weight so they're easy to move around, and the quality is actually really good for the price so that's a big W from Amazon. I've had them fall from the place that I put them once or twice, and the quality remains the same.

Excellent
I bought these in November, 7 months ago now, since my old speaker on my desktop had started buzzing. These speakers are brilliant. So simple to plug in and use. We've started to use them mostly to watch TV on the laptop hoping it might increase the volume and it has. No probs now with hard-to-hear dramas etc. Would highly recommend.

Decent and affordable
Decent, affordable speakers! I bought these for my gaming pc as an initial speaker, intending to buy better ones when I had more money. They're good little speakers, the sound is nice and they're compact and look nice with my set up. A downside is they're a little noisy, lots of background buzzing. I got used to it though, it may be hard for some to get past this.Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting them as a nice placeholder!! Get the job done.

For the price it's superb
I bought two to achieve a seriously cheap 5.1 surround sound system for gaming. I had a decent centre speaker and subwoofer already so this completed the layout. The audio is very tinny, almost no bass. The wires are short and at full volume you get some analogue distortion. The power cables are adjacent to the audio cables which potentially creates unneeded electronic interference but has not been audible in my case. The power indication light is incredibly bright (I just stuck a piece of black gorilla tape over it and it was fine) and the volume knob lacks any indication of what setting it is at, so I used a knife to cut an indent. I haven't tried the audio-out ports (for headphones) but I imagine they're adequate. The design is simple and subtle, the audio lacks noticeable interference or phasing (which is good).tl,dr: Amazon has their priorities right for a "Basic" product, the audio and cosmetic design are the outstanding features, the packaging was superb, and everything else is incredibly cheap and low-quality. Very good product for a low-budget scenario that doesn't require audio reproductive accuracy.
