This book by David G. Benner "Desiring God's Will" is true Spiritual Medicine for the soul. YES,YES,YES, is an understatement, I was so blessed to experience a true "unitive experience" just as David Benner related it on page 107, To experience the Love of God flow through my soul and feel His touch on my heart changed me forever, I received a new heart with God's truth forever imprinted on it, Praise God and His Son Jesus Christ. my Lord and Savior. It was love at first awareness; I remain to this day hopelessly in love with God, That was 40 years ago and at the lowest point in my life I was touched at that point in my life, in deep crisis I confessed and accepted myself as the failure I had become. I was lost and I let God know it was all my own fault. In the very next moment it all just happened. Oh' the Joy that filled my soul Thank you so much for writing this beautiful book. It was for the likes of me God would not let you write the book you had wanted to write. You did right. I really liked page 116 "Going with the flow of God;s kingdom is floating in the river of divine love". 5 stars all the way, Again Oh' the Joy that filled my soul. from lost to found just like that." it was God's Grace that "saved a wretch like me". Thank you so much David for writing. A GREAT BOOK... A MUST READ... THANK YOU SO MUCH! GOD BLESS AMERICA,

Love this series!! Really gets you thinking about relationships between God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and yourself. These are some of my favorite books for inner reflection and how to find, build, and move my relationship with the Lord. Not to mention these books help greatly with Bible study of the Word of the Lord, meditation, and prayer.

We did this as a 4 week Bible study and it was great. The author takes the reader through five different sections Surrender, Obedience, Transformation and Becoming love. This book was amazing, it help me to examine my love for God and what that love means to me. The section on obedience was initially challenging UNTIL I got to the end. Then I put it all together since I love God obedience will happen.

I liked it because it was helpful but I minus one star because he touched on the topic of emotions as useful to our discernment process but I wish he had expanded more on this. I didn't like it being brought up and then oversimplified. I wanted more!

Wow! What a climax to this incredible trilogy. Are you a Christian who has struggled to find the elusive "life" that Jesus promised? Do yourself a favor and read this book and see if you don't come away with clarity, direction and understanding what this "life" looks like!

Highly recommend the three book series. I have been in ministry for 2”years and yet this book and the other two in the series uncovered areas for me personally that I still had room to grow in. This took me to a deep, rich understanding of Gods will for my life. You won’t be disappointed, take your time and digest this book.
