We put this over top the skating leggings . Provides ample padding especially on hips... Great for kids learning axel... Which is a a difficult jump that prone to falls. Had a zipper up padding shorts before with a non figure skating brand and it doesn't have padding in the right spots like this one.. ie:hips. This is a good product

These shorts are one of the best inventions ever!! I wear them every time I go skating and they really do work to protect you from falls. They fit great, I forget that I'm wearing them, and are easy to slide on and off without skates on. These feel like great quality and despite some falls have no damage.

Bought these for roller derby. They are THE BEST! I have so many hard falls on concrete and haven’t had any bruises on my hips since I started wearing these. Love them so much!

Size "Ladies Small" comfortably fits skinny 14yo teenager. Improves confidence in trying doubles. Overall very happy with the purchase

I am a beginner to intermediate level skier and had a couple of tailbone injuries while skiing in the past. This time I tried five butt protectors on Amazon and chose this one. Others are too long or too bulky. This one is perfect, lightweight, stretchy enough to wear on top of ski pants. It is black color and so does not show on my black pants. It is comfortable to ski with it with no constraint. Also comfortable to sit for lunch or on ski lifts. I fell once on my buttock, and this totally protected me. If you do more serious skiing and high impact movements, you may need something more robust. But for leisure skiing, it is perfect, at least for me.
