JJCJM-KII Wireless Remote with RR-80 Socket for Fujifilm Camera

Initially very impressed with the functionality for the price. Feels lightweight so may be not very robust, time will tell. There's a loop for a (narrow) neck strap, but no strap is included. Just one thing to be careful about, there is no on/off switch on the remote sender, so the 25A battery will drain down pretty quickly as I found out! Solution is remove battery when not in use. A minor inconvenience, hence only 4 stars. The 2nd shutter button on the receiver is a real bonus when all you need is to stand just behind the camera.

Delighted with this item. Though not compatible with my camera Sony A390 figured i could use the output to fire an infra red transmitterwhich is the only remote facility. With some open heart surgery on the cheap IR remote ( sold on amazon £1.98 inc battery ) - soldered a lead to the switch and bingo increased distance, reliability and can fire from anywhere ( the IR only works from front of camera.)The jack plug can be replaced and converted to wire tails. Toughest job, making a neat rig for the receiver and IR they sit on a CD case lid sandwiched twixt camera and quick release mount !

as described-arrived before the expected date and works on fuji xe-1. I have only tried it wired so can't comment on the wireless use (i think you need to turn OFF silent mode when using it wirelessly)

Works a treat but with both single shots and continuous shooting up to around 10 meters any further away and only single shots were possible with or without the flash on. I haven't tried 30 meters yet. I am pleased with the system as most of my shooting is done between ten and 15 meters.
