The soft Velcro is much easier to work with. The other (hard) side of the Velcro is more difficult. Not impossible, just more of a challenge when sewing by hand.

Easy to cut. Easy to sew with sewing machine. Great hold.

Needed this to make curtains for my daughter's classroom to cover shelves so they are off limits to the little ones. This sew-in worked perfect with the adhesive velcro that was previously placed by the last teacher.

To make a back window for side by side

I bought a name brand instead recently but it was less grippy so I’m back to this stuff. It has a slightly wider selvedge that makes the hook side easier to sew neatly. IYKYN… I sew this on relatively stiff mesh. There are applications where it might be too stiff- like lightweight fabrics but for we it works so I’m sticking with it. ;-)
