Takeya Actives Insulated Stainless Water Bottle With Insulated Spout Lid, 32Oz, Midnight

I have had many water bottles, and also many insulated bottles but this one is top-notch. From the silicon protective bottom to the insulated cap with a handle, everything is well thought out and well manufactured. It seems that the paint won't flake or scrape easily (and so far it hasn't after two months). Of course the insulation works as advertised and the liquid stays either hot, warm, or cold as intended. It also smells clean even after a multiple weeks of usage. You know, after some time most bottles have some kind of odor or scent; either from the beverages or from use. Here, with Takeya, it feels (after washing and rinsing it regularly) that there isn't any smell. I expect that it will eventually happen but at least the progress is much slower than with most bottles. From a friend i know that eventually the cap will need to be replaced because the silicon will degrade and will get moldy, but hey, it is true of other caps and bottles. At least Takeya (like other good brands) has that option available and you can buy a replacement cap once you get to that point. I think I will soon buy one more bottle and i love the fact that there are SO MANY colors to choose from!

Hält sehr lange heiß und kalt, mit knapp unter einem Liter gute Größe. Sehr stabil, gut durchdachter Verschluss mit Griff. Ich habe mich für eine Takeya Flasche entschieden, nachdem ich mehrere ausprobiert und im Netz recherchiert habe. Ich nutze sie auf der Arbeit / im Sportstudio für Tee / Eistee. Kleiner Nachteil: Sie passt in hiesigen Autos nicht in den Getränkehalter. Für mich dennoch die bisher beste Isoflasche.

Loving my Tekaya...kept my drink cold for more than 8 hours! Ice cold drink is super impt not just for hydration because when one spends 8 hours of gruelling, intensive Instructor Training, ice cold water is revival and a tiny wake-up shock. So my "Teky" is a life-saver literally.

While it was exciting to open a new bottle for my everyday use, i was shocked by the dent that was on the supposedly strong build of the bottle. It was disappointing to think that an unopened and new bottle could have such a defect. It could be due to the lack of cushioning during delivery as the bottle just came in a plastic wrap and the usual amazon box.. wont be returning as it would be too much trouble for a minor defect.
