Best Tasting Popcorn Salt Ever
While searching for a new car to purchase, I inadvertently discovered this popcorn salt in the waiting area at the local Honda dealer. I went back three times - in part trying to discover why their popcorn tasted so wonderful. I ended up buying a new 2014 Honda Accord. When the car was ready for delivery, I found their supply cabinet for the popcorn machine. It was Mighty Popcorn salt and Canola Oil and bulk popcorn from Sam's Club. I ordered the top selling brand (Flavacol) here on Amazon thinking it would taste as good or even better, but it was simply awful tasting in my opinion. Now I'll never change from Mighty Popcorn Salt. I do wish they didn't use the artificial color - totally unnecessary. If I want a yellow color, I'll put butter on the popcorn. Fortunately I'm not allergic to aspirin (a side effect of this food coloring for some people).

Flavored salt -- not salt
"Popcorn salt" is what very fine salt is called, good for use on popcorn, nuts, french fries, and many other foods, where fine-grained salt that sticks to the food is needed. Other "popcorn salt" items advertised on Amazon, like Morton's Popcorn Salt, or Diamond Crystal Popcorn & Nut Salt, or Barry Farm Popcorn Salt (very inexpensive, except that it has an expensive shipping charge) fit this description. However, although the description for this item does not make it clear, this has soy plus artificial flavorings added as ingredients, to give a non-dairy butter flavor. These ingredients are described on the box, but not in the Amazon description. If you order this salt, make sure you know what you are ordering. This is definitely NOT what I wanted, so just ordered different popcorn salt that is JUST salt.

Definitely buy this for your popcorn machine
YES! This is the best popcorn salt. If you're using one of the popper machines like is pictured on the box, put a liberal amount of salt into the kettle while you're cooking. You can't go overboard when you add it to the oil mixture, but definitely be careful when adding it as seasoning to the rest of the popcorn. I love the stuff but if you're serving it, be careful of going overboard when seasoning after the popcorn has popped. My only dislike is that the salt sometimes burns your tongue if you've been eating too much of it. I think it's worth it because the stuff is delicious, but it's something to keep in mind.

Popcorn salt
Love this salt. I don't even need butter on the popcorn with this type of salt. My only complaint is the expiration date. It was less than a year and that is a lot of salt to go thru in such a short time. Otherwise, very happy.

This makes his day!
My partner loves this for his popcorn. Even sneaks it in to the movies to use on his theater popcorn because they don't always have what he likes.

Your popcorn will taste like it does in the theater
Your popcorn will taste like it does in the theater because this is the commercial popcorn salt that some of the theaters use. Super-fine salt, so it sticks to the kernels and that oh so wonderful "butter" flavoring. Enjoy!

Doesn't stick to popcorn
Popped 2 batches of hot air popcorn and added this to it. Shook it in a plastic bag. Didn't stick to popcorn and was at the bottom of bag. Maybe ok if you put in melted butter but that's not what this is for. Review later if I find I didn't something wrong but it seems pretty simple: smaller salt particles stick better, but that didn't happen for me.
