SUPER250PY 5-in-1 Digital Inverter 50 A Plasma Cutter and 200 AMP TIG ARC MMA (With AC Weld and Pulse Function)

I am a retired pipe welder and have owned this machine for 3 years. It was used very lightly for personal projects. The stick weldfunction was pretty good, the plasma was mediocre at best and the TIG function was pretty good. It has been in my shop and seen no rough conditions, but it suddenly ceased to weld or cut properly. It still makes an arc but will not produce enough power to weld or cut. I called tech support and was told that it was just how electronics are, ok fair enough, however I would not recommend this machine to anyone. Maybe if the warranty were for 3 or 5 years.

I've used the super 250 for a couple of years now and I love it for the price. I cut steel all the time and with the tig have made several aluminum fuel tanks and extended the oil sump on a friends dragster. The torch heads and lines are not very industrial but function perfectly. Once I cut a 1/2"x10ft hardened cutting edge for a dozer blade at 100% duty cycle!. The unit worked great until it overheated one of the power transistors. Ramsond has great Tech support. The fix was cheap and easy. (they told me to let the unit rest for a few minutes during big cuts. (my bad)) Still using and loving the super 250 today.
