Q: what is the size of bottom of tip

from top to bottom is 3 inches and the base is 2 inches. Only complaint about these tips is that their heavy! Otherwise grips well, even in wet weather, but you still have to be careful if your walking in water spills on floors.

Q: What color are these? One picture shows blue and one picture shows gray.

Mine are gray. I've never seen these tips in blue. They are great but a tad on the heavy side.

Q: What is the recommended body weight limit for these crutch tips ?

Not sure the weight limit as set by the manufacturer, but I can tell you these were used by someone who is 5' 8" and weighs 200lbs, and they were very sturdy.

Q: I have encountered 3/4" and 7/8" crutch tips. 7/8" tips are too large, fall offf. What does the diameter measure?

The diameter is the 'Length of a straight line through the center of an object;' but for fitting two objects together you measure the inner diameter of one (the crutch tips) and the outer diameter of the other (where crutch tip fits).So the Opening in the crutch tips is the diameter-size. Remember if 7/8" is to large that 3/4" is the next smallest size.
