Three years of excellent results!
This excellent product works far better than all the various "traps" (propane, electric, UV attractant, etc.) I've purchased over the years, all of which were quite expensive. I spread (hand cranked spreader) a small amount over wet/damp areas every two to three weeks (or longer in dry spells). An excellent value given the results I get. I don't spread any of this near (15 to 20 feet away), nor uphill at all, of our organic vegetable gardens.

Useful for potted plants
I use the mosquito bits in my potted plants. I sprinkle about a teaspoon on top of the soil in each 1 gallon pot to keep the small critters away. These can also be soaked / dissolved in water overnight and the water used to water plants. We use the solid version in water tanks and tubs at the greenhouse and in standing water around the property. We catch rainwater in barrels and use the cakes to keep mosquitoes from living.I was purchasing the small 30 oz bags, but the 20 lb bag was about a 30 % savings if I remember correctly. I put it insome half and gallon sized tightly sealed plastic containers for safetyand convenience, labeled them and placed them in the garden shed. This should last us about 3-4 years. This would be more than most people need in a lifetime, unless you're growing hundreds of plants to sell.

No more Gnats
I love this product. I highly recommend using it to get rid of gnats.

Seems to work
NOTHING [legal] is going to eliminate mosquitoes 100%, but in conjunction with perimeter sprays, this seems to help quite a bit. Key is to get it spread in the spring in low spots where water accumulates right after the snow melt (if you live in a cold climate).

These things are amazing.
A couple of years ago I used these, one mosquito the entire year. The year before it was a disaster. Last year when I forgot to do it, horrible mosquitoes. This year I remembered and I did it early and I suspect we will be mosquito-free again. I love that you can scatter them too. We have a lot of surface to cover on our property. The flooding runs into the neighbor's property and I can throw them right through the fence.

Works great, Measures differently than Dunks product format.
It takes more volume of the granules than the visually similar size of the Dunk format would lead you to estimate. Weigh it on a kitchen scale to get the right quantity of this product to match the surface area and conditions of your use case. Anybody know if you really need to "strain and spray" for fungus gnats instead of just broadcasting granules onto soil surface?

Jury’s Still Out
Using it for orchids so runs right through the chips, not as effective as I would have hoped but am still hopeful that it just may take a few more applications than recommended

Takes care of bugs
We mix it in water and water the plants with it and bugs went down by a lot. Sticky traps used to be covered after a few weeks. Now there are hardly any after over a month.
