1.75LB Slug/Snail Bait

I bought this slug bait specifically because the listing said it contained metaldehyde as the active ingredient. What I received contained iron as the ingredient. Metaldehyde kills slugs immediately. I used products with metaldehyde for many years with success. I am not convinced that this Corry's stuff does anything. I would have returned it, but everything is such a huge hassle with this virus disaster.

Corry's is product we've used for years. It's sometimes hard to find at the garden/hardware store because it is so popular. The only negative would be that I had hoped for a larger package.

Was the wrong formula

I ordered 2 each "Original English Formula" Corry's Slug & Snail Killer [metaldemyde powder] -- not cheap @ almost $30. I received only 1 box of Corry's pelletized new formulation which sells locally for $7.49/box. This new stuff is roughly equivalent to Sluggo with which I've had scant success.

Have used this product numerous times. It woks great and last a long time to keep the slugs away.

description of product (see the photo of box) says this is metaldehyde (very effective for slugs), but the product shipped was an iron compound (not so effective for slugs). Apparently the formulation of the prodct has changed. Update the description, please.

I ordered this specifically because I wanted the original active ingredients- WHICH IS WHAT PRODUCT PHOTO SHOWS.So, heads up ... You get the new blend, safe for "people and pets", and from my previous experience w/this stuff - also safe for snails and slugs.

Slugs are gone. Only needed a little to rid my garden.
