Smart Water Valve WIFI Remote Control Faucet Timer for Hose Compatible with Alexa, Google Home (WIFI, DN15(1/2"))

I installed this as a part of my pool fill automation solution. I needed a system that reliably keeps our in-ground pool filled at the correct level year-round. I paired a Staypoolizer 2.0 (2025 purchase) with this Smart Water Valve WIFI Remote Control Faucet Timer (2022 purchase). The combination allows me to schedule the fill days/times, and prevent overfilling or underfilling. This valve has performed perfectly over the three years that I've had it installed; very durable and no leakage. Initially, I was trying to use just this valve to keep my pool level within range year-round. Due to different evaporation rates at different times of the year and varying weather conditions (rain, dry spells), I needed to pair it up with something else to complete my automated pool filling system. Installation was easy re: connectivity to my WIFI and Alexa automations. I have a Routine set up in Alexa that turns the valve on and off, allowing me to set the duration, day of the week, and time of day for the pool fill. I had a plumber install this in-line to my existing pool feed water line. That was also a simple installation. I chose to feed the Staypoolizer from my in-pool water fill pipe vs. having a hose lying on the pool deck (trip hazard as well as a potential point of failure when the hose degrades in the sun). The base is perfectly weighted to hold it in place on the pool edge. Adjusting the float height/water level was very simple. The functionality is exactly what I needed for my application. And I love the value for my money vs. having to install a different float/fill system.

The smart valve comes with a female thread opening on both sides. So you will need to provide a slipXthread adapter. I chose the 1/2” pipe size for my particular application. Some people were wondering how the power cord is wired. Allow me to help people understand that part a little better. There is *1* wire coming out of the smart valve. That wire has a water-tight rounded screw union connection. (Google: pvc union for better understanding). At the very end of the cord, you will see a USB-A fitting(what everyone had before usb-c was widely used). Simply dig out 1 of your old USB-A cell phone block chargers & plug this smart valve INTO that & boom - you’ve got power. The app is “Smart Life” it’s a blue icon w/White House & antenna signals on 1 Side of the roof. This app is used by a lot of different companies to manage smart devices. If you leave your Bluetooth ON when loading up the app, it might even find it quicker than you can. The app is smooth & operates nicely for what it’s supposed to do. You have 3 basic options. 1. Schedule your ON & OFF times. 2. Basic manual ON & OFF with your choice of valve opening percentage. (50% means your valve will be 1/2 open, 90% means that the valve is almost fully open, etc) 3. Countdown off. (1 of my favorite features because i always get distracted & forget i left it on). This feature allows you to turn the valve OPEN/ON so that water will flow & the. Tell the count down timer how long you want it to stay on. I choose 5 or 10 minutes. After those minutes pass, the valve automatically closes. The only review portion i cannot comment on is longevity of the product. I’ve only had it installed for 1-2 weeks. But so far, i love it. 1-12-24 Update: my smart calves are both still working nicely. The only issue i am finding now is how to connect them to the Alexa skills portion of my Alexa app. But both valves still perform wonderfully.

This worked great for 2 weeks, then it just stopped working. It says it is working in the app, but does not turn on the water. I used this to control the Hot water fill line above Hot Tub. This seemed like a great product if it would have lasted. I will have to look for something else.

Definitely worked for me, I installed on my back yard and connection is strong with my WiFi. Set up was also easy and watering my grasses as much as I want. My grasses are definitely alive again, I’m happy with it.

Seems like a well built valve. App is easy to set up and program. However, the manual states that you can program unlimited frequency of operation. This is not true, it can only accept 30 commands, then it says no more tasks can be added. If you don't need more than 30 cycles, I'm sure it will work just fine.

This is supposed to be weatherproof but somehow without freezing weather it has leaked water from outside to the inside causing it to rust.

I purchased the Frankever Wi-Fi water valve to put on my city water spigot going to my RV. I wanted to have a remote way to turn my city water off in case of a leak, as I have water sensors that remotely notify me was well. I love the app, it is feature rich and the unit basically connected itself and completed the entire setup process. The valve itself is very heavy duty, and you can tell by the look and feel of it. The electrical connector is a common plug and screw type and seems like it should be water tight. I did put some electrical tape over the connection just for extra protection. The only thing that I did not like about installation was that it does not come with any adapter to connect a standard garden hose. You have to go out and purchase your own NPT to MPT connectors to fit a garden hose. The search was tough and long as not every hardware stores carry the correct ones. Once installed, it is very nice to have and I am overall happy with the valve.

Compré dos y a las dos válvulas les pasó lo mismo. Menos de una semana se usó y las válvulas ya no cierran al 100%. Lo cual generó que se tirara el agua. No las compren
