I purchased two of these masks for a trip I took my daughter on for her 15th birthday to Key West FL, and this mask performed better than I expected. We did a few snorkel excursions which they provided snorkel gear, but after trying what was provided, we still ended up going back to use our own and these masks worked perfectly. They stay snug to your face and the adjustable straps make it easy to adjust when you need to. We never had any issues with fogging or water getting in. When we had days at the beach, we would stay in the ocean for hours snorkeling, sometimes for as long as an hour straight without ever taking the masks off for fresh air. The valve closes automatically when you go under water and opens when the air valve peaks above water. It may take a few minutes to get used to breathing with the mask because of the auto-close valve, as it can feel like you have to inhale harder to get air or you may feel like you're not getting enough air and could cause you to worry, so I just recommend you practice using the mask and your breathing before you go on your adventure so you're comfortable with how it feels and not panic. My 15yr old daughter had no issues with it once she got used to it. This was worth the purchase and it allows you more time exploring and not wasting time resurfacing to defog or let water out like like so many other masks do. The full face mask also saves your mouth from feeling sore from having to bite down on the air tube in traditional equipment. If you talk loud enough, you can also communicate through the masks. My next adventure is the Turks & Caicos in August and I can't wait to use our masks again exploring the reefs there. I highly recommend this mask and would buy it again if we needed to replace!

We had to bring our own snorkeling mask for a week in the Caribbean and this mask worked perfectly! The first time, it was too tight and forced my jaw up. A simple adjustment of the straps made it fit comfortably! A few days later, a small leak on the side and again, a simple adjustment of the straps made it perfect. I absolutely loved the full view mask with the ability to breathe normally through your nose. I even yawned a bit to take the pressure off my ears (can't do that with a mouth piece!) It did not fog up at all and there is no comparison to the mask/snorkel combo for me. I will never use anything other than the full mask when snorkeling. I'm not a diver and didn't do anything but float along the top, so can't speak to how it performs with a dive, but this is a winner!

I am a longtime snorkeler and diver and this is my first purchase of a full face snorkel mask. I chose this model due to the high ratings and the details of the up to date design which ensures good CO2 clearance. I was prepared to be disappointed just because new designs that replace tried and true ones often are, along with bad stories about cheaply made and early generation full face masks, but was curious and decided to try. This has been one of my most pleasant surprises purchasing on Amazon. The design is excellent, it fits comfortably, seals great, virtually no leaks, if water does get in it quickly and efficiently drains from the bottom. It does NOT fog at all, breathing feels very natural, the inflow protection when submerging works flawlessly, and the venting is excellent. I have worn it for hours and not detected any issue with venting CO2 , airflow is clean and you quickly fall into a natural breathing that is lightyears ahead of using a snorkel. And the main benefit - increased visibility - is fantastic. I will never go back to a regular snorkel mask for surface snorkeling. For deep dive snorkeling you will still want a regular mask as a full face has a much larger pocket of air on your face which will inhibit getting to depth, but for surface cruise snorkeling and shallow diving this is far and away a better experience. The only improvement I would suggest - the face lens has a beveled edge which slightly diminishes width of view, vertically it reaches the limits of my line of sight, but horizontally does not completely reach my edge of vision. Maybe a future version could use a fully rounded lens at the edge to completely maximize the view. But overall not enough to bring it down from 5 stars, it's excellent. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

We are a family of three and we brought this mask because we love to snorkel. We have never used this kind of mask before so we were apprehensive. It performed above and beyond our expectations, my wife and son are very good swimmers and went far from shore with the mask and were delighted with it. The view was spectacular none of us experienced any leaks or problems with any water getting into the mask even when going under water. As it is a new product we did plan to analyse it in greater detail but was enjoying the experience so much we didn't. So will just say it's imperative that you know your own personal limitations and do not go beyond them. The mask gives you a lot of confidence but at the end of the day you are still in the sea so you have to be aware of what you can and cannot do. It goes without saying making sure it's adjusted to a nice fit in terms position and tightness made the experience as safe as possible and also enjoyable. Would highly recommend it.
